Great way to spend a morning! - Had a lovely half day travelling up to Teide, the sights were amazing, and the guides/drivers were very informative, interesting and good fun! Had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Throughly recommend!

Teide by Jeep - A very interesting excursion, animated by Stephane's comments, which we enjoyed listening to. Our driver did not speak French, but took great care of us. Thank you to the whole team for this great time!

Great Trip.. Highly Recommend! - We went for the 1/2 day 4x4 Safari Teide trip, pickup from hotel was swift and we then met at Costa Adeje for a morning meeting - bit of confusion finding the English speaking group but we got there.. We were in a roofless jeep which was fantastic, the first stop was above the small villages on the way up Teide - there was 4 or 5 English Speaking jeeps so we would all stop together and get out, where the very entertaining guide would tell us funny storys and facts about the area. He was great! Next stop was at a cafe, great scenic spot and tried the famous Barraquito drink, highly recommend! 3rd stop was Teide National park, we got plenty of time to visit the sights, cafe & museum.. great views! 4th & 5th stops were on the way back down through the national park and were informative & fun! The views on the open top jeep were incredible, much better experience than being on a bus.. The whole day was fast & action packed, all completed from 8am - 1pm Highly recommend if your visiting Tenerife!

Fantastic jeep tour. - A fantastic private jeep tour Colin our guide and driver was brilliant very knowledgeable he took us to lots of different areas around the national park giving us lots of information and photo opportunities. The tour was well worth the money and having Colin as our guide made our day.Thankyou.

Half day Teide trip, go for it! - It was a great half day trip, definitely worth doing. Plenty of stop offs on the way, to take in the views, which are amazing & information too. Colin the Scottish guy is great. He knows his stuff.

FRANKIE WHAT AN ASSET - Hubby and i did a half day tour , we were lucky enough to have Frankie as our guide..what a lovely funny and knowledgeable guy.. hubby and him constantly sooke about their love of landrovers ha ha.. and at end of tour we were lucky enough for him to drop us of for shopping.. thank you Frankie

Great tour - We all really enjoyed this tour. The whole family found it very interesting. The tour guide was brillant. Would really recommend this to families considering it.

Mount teide - Fantastic half day with guides that have obviously researched their information but don't believe every fact they tell you , eg film locations and famous movies that were allegedly set at mount tiede.

Good sites - Departure was to be at 7:45 a.m. No luck I waited 1 hour. When I called Fram, who was my only contact, I was told that there was a problem with the car. I took 2 different 4*4s to get to the RV deck. Everyone was waiting for me. I could have been notified of the delay. I found myself in the back of the 4*4 without seeing anything. (basically in the trunk). The guide gave all the explanations to the Dutch in the 4*4. When we arrived on site with the free visit, I had to stay and have considerably reduced explanations, which reduced my visit time. Weird. On the way back, it was the guide who spoke French very well who took me directly to the hotel. Why wasn't I picked up in the morning with the Dutch?? Great mystery. Otherwise lunch is free. We finish at 3:00 p.m. The places are very good. Too bad the Teide cable car is not offered.

Overpriced below-average experience - A couple of years ago we took a bus trip to Teide and we were disappointed because most of the time we picking or dropping off people on the way to and from the volcano. We thought this jeep safari trip would be much better. Unfortunately, our jeep was replaced with a mini-van (the company warns about such cases, but we didn't know till the last moment). We were driving most of the time, the stops at Teide were very short even compared with our previous bus trip and we couldn't enjoy this marvellous place at all. I'd rather rent a car with a driver next time than book a trip with Tamaran again.
