Experience an educational eco-adventure with the chance to listen to whales and dolphins using our hydrophone. Complimentary tour photos of the marine wildlife are included, and we offer a Sightings Guarantee. The boat is a custom-built, 8-meter whale watching vessel with cushioned bench seats.

Meet our Guide 15 minutes before departure time at the blue gated entrance to Dock/ GATE 3 in the Puerto Colòn Marina. We do not have an office. If you are driving you can find a parking area directly at the Marina. You DO NOT need to print the ticket, digital form it's perfect.

Whale watch Tenerife- amazing! - We have had an amazing afternoon on the private tour with John. Teenagers are hard to please and he managed it!! We saw lots of pilot whales and learnt a lot about the species. We all enjoyed the trip and 100% recommend. Thank you.

Incredible! - Just brilliant! The best trip you could imagine - Ion is wonderfully engaging, exceptionally knowledgeable and impressively eloquent in a second language. We saw several pods of whales, at all times reassured that Ion was incredibly respectful of their environment - he is clearly a passionate environmentalist who cares deeply about the wildlife in this amazing marine park. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

A magnificent tour - A very nice tour where we were enough lucky to see a lot of pilot whale and turtles.

Unique moments - Unbelievable! We had a great day, we saw a lot of cauldrons with calves, they gave us unique moments. John, the Guide, was very attentive at all times and made translations into Spanish immediately, everything he was sharing was very interesting. We definitely recommend living the experience of seeing marine fauna in your habitat.

Fascinating 🤩❤️ - We are very happy that we (family with 2 children, daughter is 4 years old and was thrilled 🐳 ❤️) chose this company and not the bigger ships and competitors.
It has been a very loving and intimate journey into the world of whales and much has also been learned about the way these fascinating animals live. You can tell it's a passion for John and not just a job and we'll remember this experience fondly.

The best part of our Tenerife trip - Such a fantastic experience. I couldn’t recommend it enough. We’ve been coming to Tenerife for years and so glad we finally booked this.
John was phenomenal and you could tell the level of experience, love and care he had for the ocean. We saw lots and lots of whale families and John kindly took amazing photos so we could kick back and enjoy.
If you’re in Tenerife make sure you book through this company. Will absolutely be back next year!

Incredibly passionate and informed guide/ captain. Conservation and study are forefront of this experience. - I did A LOT of research before booking this trip. As someone who is passionate about wildlife conservation I wanted to make sure that a tour would be as much about the animals as it would be about an experience for us as a family. Whale Watch Tenerife ticked the boxes.
From the very fist greeting at our meeting point, until our final goodbye Ion was informative and enthusiastic as well as mindful of the beautiful creatures he was able to show us. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell how much he enjoyed sharing his this with us. His explanations before we even left the harbour about how to stop the whales meant that it was or daughter who had the first shout, and both girls were enthralled by the whale pods we saw (this is even despite one of them feeling a bit motion sick due to having to switch off the engines and bob along so that we didn’t disturb the pods from their normal behaviour.
It is REALLY IMPORTANT to ONLY go with a properly registered tour and if you can go with Whale Watch Tenerife you will have the most amazing and educational experience. They also take photos of the whales you see and send all of those to you which you can then try and identify against the university website as to Who you saw.
Ion, I cannot thank you enough for such a fantastic trip we all learnt so much and can’t wait to sit down when we set home and try to look up and identify our beautiful whale friends.

Unforgettable experience - Unforgettable experience. Ion gave us a masterful explanation that helped us better understand the world of cetaceans. The patron saint also lovely always respecting the distance to give her space to the animals.💯 Recommended, my daughter was 10 years old left delighted with the experience.
