Definitely a must - Absolutely a highlight of our trip and highly recommend Oasis night walk. We were fortunate to have the extremely knowledgeable, friendly and considerate David as our guide. Saw 3 Fur-de-lance and 4 Eye lash Vipers, many Red eyed Tree Fogs ( even saw a pair mating) Yellow tubby frogs, Strawberry Dart frog, Hourglass frogs and many other species of frogs. Orb weavers, huntsman an incredible giant stick insect and the amazing Owl moth amongst other insects and arachnid species. David explained ecology and life cycles and ensured everyone had opportunities to view and take photographs whilst being respectful of the occasional other passing tour group. Thoroughly enjoyed, worth every cent of cost and would highly recommend to be on your bucket list. Thank you David, Oasis and Costa Rica. That's a double thumbs up.

Such a knowledgeable guide! - Such a knowledgeable guide! We had a thoroughly guided tour of the rainforest area seeking out frogs, insects and sleeping birds. Every effort was made to ensure that we could see, get photos and understand what we were seeing. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

Great, even in the pouring rain - Great tour even in the pouring rain. Wonderful guide. Beautiful red eyed tree frogs. We saw many frogs and toads. Very cool being in the rainforest at night in the rain.

We have seen so much! - Seen a lot, very clear explanation with a lot of information, help with taking pictures. Unbelievable what can be found in the woods behind your cabin.

Must do night hike! - I highly recommend this night hike! 2 minutes into the hike we saw beautiful tree frogs. Throughout the hike we saw more frog species, crickets, ants, snakes, mushrooms and were educated in the trees and plants that grow here. This is a tour for all ages. They provide you with a flash light, but the one I brought was brighter, and bottled water. Besides a rain jacket, No need to being anything else.

Lots of frogs! - We really enjoyed this walk, and learned a lot. Our guide, Juan, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, although some information I looked up later on walking palms makes me think he wasn't quite so knowledgeable about trees as he is a list snakes and amphibians. He did an amazing job spotting animals to show us, and had a lot of interesting information to impart. He is soft-spoken, so if you weren't close to him, you were likely to miss a few morsels of information. Juan took his time and answered all of our questions. There were several other groups touring at the same time, and that does always impact your experience, but in this case it was managed well and we would recommend this tour.

It's akay but can be better. - Enjoyed the night tour in La Fortuna! Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out some interesting wildlife. It was a fun experience, but I think it needs some tweaks. 3 stars!

Night walk - good frogs, wrong time posted - The guide was great and helped us discover many frogs and other things like spiders and centipedes. We were upset with the fact that we booked a 530pm tour and when we arrived we were told our tour wasn’t until 6:15. Even though our reservation said 530. We had to sit and wait over 45 minutes to start.

Overcrowded - great if you want to see other torch wielding tourists! - Great guide but he could do nothing about the over crowding. Yes we saw frogs and the odd snake……amongst the other 100+ tourists with torches. Not peaceful, queuing to get past each other in a confined area. They know how to charge but then over book a small area ruining what could have been good. Again - a lovely knowledgable guide but an expensive sub par experience owing to overcrowding. Shame.
