Here, you can commonly spot monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, and sloths. The canals are also a bird watcher’s paradise, so keep your eyes peeled! The Tortuguero Canals are undoubtedly one of Costa Rica’s main attractions, offering a unique opportunity to experience this natural wonder. You’ll pass through some of the country’s most fertile areas and learn about Costa Rica’s primary agricultural products. Along the way, you’ll see cocoa plantations and ornamental flowers.
Additionally, you won’t be in a large group—at most, there will be 22 people in a car. These small groups allow for a better view and improved communication with the tour guide.
