The photographs were taken by the famous British couple, Michael and Patricia Fogden and used by National Geographics. The Colibrí Gallery is owned by Michael and Patricia Fogden and located right next to the entrance of the also private Moneteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is an exceptional destination for those who wish to immerse themselves in the splendor of nature. It provides a rich educational experience, inviting visitors to discover the mysteries of the breathtaking cloud forest. As you journey through this diverse ecosystem, you will encounter over 85 species of mammals, more than 350 species of birds, 120 species of amphibians and reptiles, and approximately 3,000 plant species, including 400 beautiful orchids. Additionally, you will observe numerous insects that play crucial roles in this complex ecosystem.

During the 2.5-hour tour, participants have the opportunity to engage with the unique tropical cloud forest environment in a small group of no more than 8 people. This intimate setting offers a more personal experience, allowing visitors to truly appreciate the marvels of nature and share their discoveries with fellow nature enthusiasts.
