Very dependable and friendly staff - Booked private airport transfers to and from Planet Hollywood from the Liberia International Airport. On the return leg to the airport, after having asked to change the original pick-up time, I realized I had made a mistake and Melissa from Guanacaste Viajes responded and promptly made both last minute changes. As I get motion sickness, the drivers allowed me to sit in the front. Drivers in both directions drove safely and were very courteous, friendly and pointed out various landmarks and highlights of the area. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Great experience - Great ride just my husband and I with the driver all to ourselves. He helped us get our necessities along the way. Super nice guy, Eric. Getting out of the airport was total chaos where driver meetup happens. Our flight was 30 mins early which created more chaos. There were a couple of (self appointed?) ride coordinators that helped us find Eric. Be sure to look for these helpers if your pickup is chaotic… our tip to the ride coordinator was appreciated.

Would Use Again in Spite of Mixup - I had reserved transfers to/from the airport to the Andaz at Papagayo Peninsula but ended up having to take a taxi upon arrival because they claimed they sent emails and texts the day before requesting payment, which I didn’t receive. The only text I got was on the morning of my departure when my flight was already in the air so I planned to make payment on arrival but by the time we landed they had cancelled the reservation leaving us stranded. When I called them they said that they had sent the driver to another location and didn’t have another driver close by. However, they did help with arranging a taxi at the same price. The return went smoothly with the driver arriving early, very cordial and the vehicle was spotless. In spite of the mixup, I’d use their service again and recommend them since they seem to run a good operation. But, everyone should know that they seem to use the Whatsup app as their primary means of communication. Fortunately, I had the app on my phone but hadn’t used it in years. When I opened it, after they told me that’s how they tried to contact me, I did find the previous days call and message requesting payment and warning that my transportation would be cancelled if not paid in advance. The app is heavily used in Costa Rica.
