Had a blast! Learned a lot! - I can’t say enough nice things about Gabriel and the day we spent visiting the volcano, waterfall and hot springs. He is so very kind and knowledgeable. We did not feel rushed at all at each place we visited. He even arranged for a slice of cake for my husband at lunch only minutes after finding out it was his birthday. We really enjoyed spending the day with him. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic! - Gabriel was an excellent tour giude. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Costa Rican nature and wildlife. He showed us monkeys, toucans, iguanas and more. The lunch buffet was a tasty traditional Coata Rican feast. The waterfall was breathtaking and the hot springs were a perfect way to end the experience. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone—especially with Gabriel.

Best Private Rincon de la Vieja National Park Tour! - Look no further! This is the tour to book! Gabriel was an AMAZING tour guide and a wonderful person. A private tour like this one gives you the flexibility to have the day exactly as you want it. We were hungry so instead of going directly to the waterfall after the hike, we decided to go eat first. Gabriel was gracious and accommodating even if it took us extra time to go out of the park to eat and then back to the waterfall. He was so knowledgeable about the volcano and all the nature surrounding it - pointing out things we would have just walked by and calling out to the birds and monkeys to get them to appear. He is also an AMAZING photographer and took the best pics of us and the volcano (some of them were in slo-motion which was so cool). He also shared so much info about Costa Rica, the people, the culture, etc. It's clear he's proud of his country. The waterfall stop and swim was breathtaking and the hot springs/mud were so much fun and not to be missed. Gabriel never rushed us and let us stay as long as we wanted at each stop. We even stopped at the big Souvenir store in Liberia for coffee/chocolate sampling and a little shopping. I would not skip that stop :) All in all it was a 10 hour day, and worth every minute. Definitely book this trip with Gabriel for an unforgettable day in Costa Rica!!

Tours by Gabriel amazing the best - A solo tour is the only way to go! Gabriel made this tour Incredible without him we would definitely not have had as great time. He was amazing in terms of flexibility knowledge of the area and history very flexible on our time we weren't rushed. He is by far the best solo private tour guide in Costa Rica! If you're going to take a tour which you definitely should absolutely go with him you will love it.

Amazing, but difficult - Definitely requires a moderate physical activity level. The initial hike is extremely interesting but very hot with many steps. Bring water. Waterfall swim was absolutely incredible and the best part of the day. I wish we could have stayed for hours. Hot springs were also amazing.

The highlight of our vacation! - What a memorable experience!! My fiancee and I had the most fun and educational tour with Mauricio. We could not recommend this trip any more highly. As you know, the tour guide makes the trip special and Mauricio went above and beyond to make sure our needs were catered to. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals (and even the trees!) on our hike. He took us to a private, beautiful waterfall and was also a great photographer :). Beautiful and educational, but watch your clocks - The overall day was very fulfilling and excellent! Our guided hike started a little late and went on for longer than we anticipated, so we ultimately did not get around to swimming at the waterfall included in this trip. Instead we went to another small waterfall near the hot springs and took a quick dip, then went to the hot springs for a little bit. It was a bit disappointing not being able to stop where we were suppose to, with the time we were suppose to, but the hike really was magnificent and we saw lots of wildlife and amazing flora!

Great hot springs - Originally we booked Volcano-Waterfall and Hot Springs Combo ( Private). The tour guide “Publo” has changed the please to waterfall and hot springs. We have not seen the volcano side at all. He took us short trip and spending more time in restaurants and shopping. Don’t like when the tour guide changes the original booking. I will demand for money back.
