  Come and discover the hidden wonders on the slopes of an inactive volcano, the Tenorio volcano. Through the predominant rainforest in this area, we will be able to observe the different symbiotic relationships between plants, animals and climatic factors next to a blue waterfall , in a 2-mile walk, with an approximate time of 2 hours

  Then we will enjoy a lunch prepared by the locals, where even the deepest corners of our palate will be stimulated. Sloths are animals that love dense forests with comfortable temperatures and this place is the perfect habitat so we will take a short one hour walk to look for them together with our naturalist guide prepared with optical equipment to visualize these beautiful animals in the trees covered with moss.

Costa Rica contains almost 5% of world’s biodiversity. Within its forest, all kinds of life forms, converge to provide a lifetime experience. The drive allows you to see many different microclimates,and the beauty added by little towns located along the drive. The first place we visit is Tenorio volcano NP,for a 45 minutes hike to the waterfall. Our bilingual staff will walk you to the waterfall to assist with anything you might need during this hike. Once you’re out of the national park, you will do a 30 minutes drive to the next location. A private property at Bijagua town, where a typical lunch made with local products will be served. Once lunch is over you will enjoy a 40 minutes light hike around the property with a naturalist guide, this person brings binoculars and a telescope to show you all forms of life available at that rain forest, specially the sloths wich are oftenly found within a few minutes after you start that hike. After this hike, we will return back to your hotel
