My Favorite Experience in Ecuador - After having finished solo-traveling within Ecuador for almost 10 days, I can say with certainty that this was my best experience in the country. The scenery and overall atmosphere throughout the park was unlike anything I had ever seen before; it blew me away. Both the horseback riding throughout cotopaxi park and hike up cotopaxi volcano are definetly things everyone should try experiencing at least once. I highly recommend asking for Kathy when booking this experience. She was absolutely excellent. Not only is she a great conversationalist, but she went above and beyond on every step of the trip, ensuring that I was both comfortable and had a great time. While in the park, I had great experience, with her taking pictures and stopping as many times as I needed during the hike to acclimate to the elevation. She also gladly answered all of my inquiries and gave recommendations for other things to do during my trip. The lunch we had afterwards was also really good. This is definetly a must-do experience while in Ecuador.

Cotopaxi tour with horse ride - Had an incredible time with Galindo on this tour! We drove from Quito to Cotopaxi, a very smooth ride. The National Park is spectacular. We went horse riding at the base of the volcano, which was surreal, and saw the lake as well. Lunch was really good! All in all, incredible tour and Galindo was an expert guide and a really wonderful person!

Surreal and Beautiful experience! INCREDIBLE - I had an amazing time! The horseback riding was so fun and I got to run with the horse which was my first time ever going fast with a horse. Then we hiked up to the Jose Rivas Refuge which was challenging but Kathy was a great tour guide and very encouraging! It was very windy and rainy but it was still so fun once I got to the top and finished. Didn’t have any altitude problems besides it was difficult to breath so we would take a few steps at a time then break. After the horseback riding and hiking we had a great lunch and Kathy gave me carrots to feed the llamas at the restaurant. It was so much fun I would definitely go again!!

Visit to Cotopaxi and horseback riding tour - An incredible experience, highly recommended. The horseback riding tour in the mountains is very worthwhile and best of all, no prior experience is necessary. Pato was very friendly, he told us many interesting things about the place and helped us with some incredible photos. The climb to the refuge is not complicated and the place is beautiful. An excellent experience!!!

Amazing - I can’t say enough about Kathy. I had a wonderful day. The horses were very safe and the loop was beautiful. I didn’t make it all the way up to Cotopaxi. Darn elevation, I turned around at about 13000 feet. Kathy was so supportive and helping me decide to turn around. If you’re looking for a wonderful day of talking, sight seeing. This is the tour and guide to do it with.

Amazing full day experience outside Quito - We did the full day private horseback ride and hike in Cotopaxi. Our guide was Kathy and the entire experience was absolutely amazing. Kathy was an incredible guide, she picked us up at 730am from our hotel sharing lots of knowledge and facts about the city of Quito along the way. We stopped for pictures and snacks before getting to Cotopaxi to go on the horseback ride. It was absolutely beautiful, Kathy told us about the local flora and fauna and also took so many great pictures with us. Once we finished the horseback ride we drove to the start of the trail, the hike up was hard but was well worth it. Afterwards we went for a wonderful lunch. I would highly highly recommend Kathy and this tour to anyone coming to Quito it was an amazing experience.
