Paradise in West Cork - One of the most amazing hikes I have been on. If you are looking for a stunning landscape, no other people in sight, fantastic storytelling and a relaxing time in nature, this is the hike for you. From beginning to end, Conor does a wonderful job of taking you on an adventure through his homeland that will hit all of your senses - yes there is even a tasty treat at the end. The views were truly breathtaking and there is even time and space for some still moments, where you can stop and take it all in. I traveled from Cork city just to do this hike and it was worth every penny! Highly recommend.

Conor and hiking Toe Head!! Great experience! - What a tour!! From start to finish, Conor really made this a special experience. Great communication before and after our tour. We felt as if we were given a special glimpse of this amazing country and we want to return for more because of it. He shared so much lore and interesting facts with us. It truly was a highlight of our trip. We drove almost 2hours from the port/cruise ship to take this specific tour and it was worth it!! Thanks, Conor!! We will see you again someday!!

A compelling hike of a beautiful, proud peninsula made entertaining & enjoyable by a local knowledgeable guide, Conor . - What a wonderful morning we spent exploring Toe Head Peninsula with Conor, GormĂș Tour Guide & exquisite storyteller ,(seanchaĂ style). Conor’s extensive knowledge of the history, flora, wildlife & folklore of the area and how he imparts that knowledge at the relevant spots/sites bring this whole hike alive in a way that we felt a part of this beautiful land and her wonderful community, past and present. The Spirit of resilience, courage, bravery & strength is still palpable in the land, seas & skies around this proud peninsula. That deep sense of the place & its people comes from Conor’s skilled storytelling. It did not feel like 7km with the regular stops for storytelling & information regarding various sites & flora. We saw flora, that we didn’t know existed & heard history we had never heard, neither of which we will not forget. We finished on the lovely TrĂĄigh Liceach. with fresh tea/coffee, Celine’s (Conor’s wife) delicious homemade cookies and a harrowing historical tale, featuring a hearty heroine named Nell Rua. I highly recommend this hike for exercise that you don’t feel yourself do, in the midst of the adventure & entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyable, a must do. BuĂochas Ó ChroĂ, Conor & Celine again, heartfelt gratitude đŸ™đŸŒŠđŸŒžđŸŒŒđŸŒŸđŸ’šđŸ™đŸ’–

Wonderful expedition - This hike around the Toe Head peninsula is a perfect combination of local history, folklore, flora and archeology with stunning views along the way led by Conor who's knowledge and story telling skills are superb and entertaining. He is a born seanachai! The time flew by finishing on Traighleagach strand eating delicious homemade biscuits (secret recipe) and being enthralled by the story of a battle fought on that very place in the 19th century. Highly highly recommended

A Highlight of Our Trip to Ireland - We loved every minute of this hike. Spending the morning with Conor was a joy. He is friendly and knowledgeable - and by the end of the hike he felt like a friend. The hike itself is a good workout but nothing too challenging (which is what we wanted). We learned a lot of history but also enjoyed good conversation about everyday stuff. Cookies were great! 10/10. Highly recommend.
