An exciting adventure! - We absolutely loved our 3.5 hour bike ride in Donegal! Rory, our host, was very friendly and patient with explaining how the e-bikes worked, as none of us had ridden one before. The map was easy to follow and the scenery was incredibly beautiful! This was the most exciting and memorable activity we did during our 10-day Ireland visit, and the memory of the beauty and adventure will last for a long, long time. I think we all want our own e-bikes now! This was so much fun!

Absolutely fantastic! - Just a brilliant way of seeing the countryside and getting exercise without getting exhausted! The scenery is breathtaking, and the bikes are brilliant. Fantastic service from Ruaidhri who made sure we were safe and familiar with the bikes, and when an unexpected downpour brought our ride to a very early end, invited us back later in the week when the weather improved. One of our group wasn’t an experienced cyclist but quickly felt comfortable and gained confidence because the bikes are so easy to use. The roads aren’t too busy with traffic, but the best bit is getting into the forest and using paths which were deserted. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

Phenomenal three hours - Our family of five loved our adventure in Gweedore. Everything about our experience was great. The ebikes were smooth and had good power when we needed it. The scenery was outstanding, and we loved the narration in the helmet. Rauairi did a super job setting everything up for us. He even took a video of us returning after our ride. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Super Fun! - Beautiful scenery, great narration via bluetooth speakers in my helmut. The ebike makes it easy but you do need some leg strength and a low level of fitness to bike the 22-mile ride. Take your rain gear too! Struggled slightly to fine meeting point, but if you enter Irish Coast Guard station in Bunbeg into GPS, that’ll help.

Amazing views and a great tour guide - This fantastic route on the e-bike was one of the highlights of our stay in Gweedore. I don't want to spoil all the surprises but would strongly advise everyone who is traveling to Donegal for a day or two to pop down to Ruairi in Bunbeg and treat yourself to a few hours of amazing views.

Brilliant Experience - Ruaidhri is an excellent guide, very responsive and provided great tips for making the most of our cycle tour. The bikes are high quality and the tour brings you to all of the highlights Gweedore has to offer. The in-helmet commentary has just the right balance of information and time to enjoy the amazing scenery. Would highly recommend.

Great afternoon exploring Donegal! - We did the self-guided 3 hour tour and absolutely loved it! Took in beautiful sights with insightful stories through the speakers of the helmet. The quality of the bikes and other equipment was top notch. Highly recommend! I’d advise to have your phone fully charged and download the wewheel application before you arrive!

Best way to see Gweedore - Really enjoyable way to see Gweedore. Great guide, excellent equipment and some spectacular scenery. We are not cyclists but the electric bike does most of the work for you. Website said no available spaces when we checked but we called down to the harbour anyway and Ruaidhri got us sorted. Great way to spend 3 hours.
