Highlights
  • 42 Wellington Quay - Meet your guide on the corner of Wellington Quay and Fownes St Lower, on the left side of The Ha’penny Bridge Inn, 42 Wellington Quay, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, D02 Y103, Ireland (53.345912163687515, -6.263398765956021). • River Liffey - This 3-hour walking tour is an essential experience of Dublin. We begin our exciting adventure on the bank of River Liffey in the Temple Bar neighborhood, known as Dublin’s ‘cultural quarter’ and nightlife district where you’ll find the city’s most important cultural institutions and historic pubs. This will give us a chance to learn about Irish whiskey, Irish beer, Irish rock’n’roll, Irish film, and so much more.
  • Christ Church Cathedral - We’ll dig through centuries of Dublin’s history and culture as we explore the historic city center, discovering traces of the Vikings, stories about Anglo-Saxon kings, and monuments commemorating historical events such as the Great Irish Famine. We’ll see highlights such as the majestic Christ Church Cathedral, the Georgian City Hall, and the inner courtyards of Dublin Castle - the nerve center of historical power in Ireland (admission tickets are not included). We’ll also discover some hidden gems, such as St. Andrew’s Church, and the Statue of Molly Malone, which has an interesting legend behind it.
  • Trinity College Library - The main attraction of this tour will be a visit to the Old Library in Trinity College, one of the 7 ancient universities of Great Britain and Ireland. The Old Library dates to 1712 and houses a collection of over 200,000 books, including the famous Book of Kells - a rare medieval manuscript renowned for its intricate illustrations and calligraphy. We provide skip-the-line tickets to this popular attraction, so our 25-people group won’t be delayed by long queues. Come and see a cultural treasure of Ireland!

Rain or shine, Ben will tour! - Ben was amazing! It was raining but we were still able to learn a lot. He kept the tour interesting and didn’t let the rain deter the tour.

Good pace, great stories and the perfect way to get a feel for Dublin - I was spoilt with a one on one tour, as the others who booked couldn't make it anymore. I had such a great time with Dave, he's so knowledgeable on all "tings" Ireland and I had such an entertaining tour. I loved the book of kells more than I thought i would and I've already recommended this to family when they next visit - purely to have a yarn and if they're lucky, a coffee with Dave!

Expensive & disappointing - Book of Kell’s was extraordinary, sadly the guide was not able to give us any explanation but that was covered by a virtual app. I was disappointed not to be able to go into Christchurch Cathedral or the Castle, as that was extra cost, and there too, the guide was not approved. It seems a lot of money not to be able to go into 2 of the 3 locations. Small group (5), hampered by the fact that there were only 2 English speakers. The 2nd was constantly translating for her 3 German colleagues. Spoilt my experience.

Too fast to absorb anything...lost a couple! - Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed listening to him, when we could hear him. He was on time at the meeting place though the check in for an "extra" couple was chaotic while they tried to show their tickets (they weren't on his list). We started off as a group of about 13 but he walked so fast that we lost a couple in the crowds somewhere. We also had a younger slightly disabled girl in our group and it was near impossible for her and her mother to keep up, especially when having to cross, en masse, across very busy streets crowded with other tourists. She actually fell at one point but the guide was so far ahead he didn't notice. Once at Trinity College the missing couple and their tickets worked out because there were no tickets for the "additional" couple... they only cared about how many, not who. Within the Book of Kells experience the guide repeatedly told us he wasn't permitted to guide inside, yet he did. He frequently brushed off staff directing him to not "guide". It made me uncomfortable. And in his efforts to skate by college staff we probably got the short end of the stick in terms of the discussion of the book. I really think I would have enjoyed and learned more if I had simply used the audio guide for the Book of Kells. The running rampant through Dublin before then... meh... I could have done ok on my own.
