Tours last for an average of three hours and include around 3 km (approx. 1.7 miles) of walking.
Please note that tastings include dairy, gluten, alcohol, fish, meat with no alternative in some cases, let the local provider know in advance if you have any specific requirements. Make sure to bring a bottle of water, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a rain coat - it’s Ireland and the tour goes ahead rain or shine. Participants must be 18+.

Over the course of 3 hours, we feast our way through acclaimed dining establishments and food boutiques in the heart of Dublin. The itinerary includes sampling of customary Irish food and/or beverages at each stop. The tour is curated for visitors and residents alike, keen on diving into Ireland’s culinary heritage and its modern food culture.

Your guide will be holding a sign and will meet you at the bottom of the Spire (a stainless steel, pin-like monument) on O'Connell Street in Dublin city centre. Tours operate rain or shine!

Excellent food…excellent tour. - A wonderful way to learn a bit of history about Ireland with an emphasis on food of course.(The host, Maeve, was excellent)

A little bit of everything! - The tour was great! Maeve did an excellent job explaining what we were going to sample and the history of the restaurant where we were. She also gave the history of food in Ireland and how far they’ve come. All the stops were delicious..from scones in the morning to ice cream for dessert with Irish Coffee in between. Highly recommend the tour!

Great tour and great food - Good insights into Irish food and culture, with lots to eat along the way. It was definitely a full meal of food (eat a light breakfast). We returned to a few of the places on the tour because we liked them so much. Also, our guide gave us additional recommendations for food that we used for the rest of our time in Dublin.

Unbelievable tour - Our food tour of Dublin was one of the best food tours that I have been on. Our guide Mauve was very knowledgeable and friendly. We found out that it was here first tour and we could not believe it because she was very professional and really knew what she was doing.

A must do! - Ketty was an amazing guide who led us through the streets of Dublin to have some very tasty experiences! She was very informative, friendly and charmed us with great stories, Irish history and why certain foods are popular in Ireland. She was energetic, knowledgeable and attentive! From tasty scones to traditional Irish stew, the selection was excellent. We have gone back already to 2 of the places we visited with her. I highly recommend this tour.

Great array of delicious traditional Irish foods. - Lisa was our tour guide. As we have found on various food tours (this was our third tour) our guide was extremely well versed and academically prepared. The tour included 5 stops. Each one was an excellent choice. It is an awesome way to get acquainted with a city and while trying various cuisines you also get to take a long walk.
