One of the best history lessons of my life - We were invited to a tour in Dublin by our service provider. I was thrilled that our tour was led by a history nerd. In front of Dublin Castle, John managed to give a summary of Irish history within 5 minutes, starting with the pre-Christian Celts and ending with the financial crisis and Ireland's tax model. Excitingly told, rich in detail and informative. As a German, I even learned things about Georg Friedrich Händel that weren't taught here at school.

Great first morning in Dublin - This was a great way to get to know the city center of Dublin and some of the main sites in the city. We learned so much about the history of not only Dublin, but Ireland as well. We had a private guide who connected well with us and gave us so many other tips and places to see for the rest of our stay. This was a great way to spend our first morning in Dublin.

A wonderful introduction to Dublin! - My husband & I did a private tour the day we landed in Ireland. We wanted to stay awake and keep moving after taking a red eye. It turned out to be an excellent way to see Dublin and to solve any issues with jet lag! Seamus, our guide, was wonderful. He contacted us a couple weeks before the tour to see what our interests would be. He planned a route that would include a good amount of walking (our preference) and took in both historical landmarks and fun pubs and restaurants. He was knowledgeable, personable and a wonderful person to spend our day with. We highly recommend!!!

Met a guide, made a friend :)! - Kevin is amazing person and guide. He is so interesting and full of knowledge- he’s like a walking history book! He also has some special connections to the history, which makes it all even more tangible and exciting! We had a blast exploring the city and Kevin was very accommodating as to what we wanted to do and see. We feel like we made a friend, and hope to see Kevin again somewhere around the world!

Excellent walking tour of Dublin! - We had a fabulous walk with guide Kevin! Highly recommend! He was extremely knowledgeable about all things Ireland generally and Dublin specifically, and was great at engaging our jet lagged 7 and 10 year olds. Our tour was tailored to our interests, particularly our kids. (They loved seeing the bog men!) We had frequent stops for ice cream and photos. It was a really wonderful way to kick off our adventures in Ireland!

Awesome Private Tour Of Dublin For Entire Family - We had two teens with us (12 and 14). We weren’t too sure how interested they would be, not to mention they were pretty jet lagged. The moment we met our tour guide (Kevin), that all was put to ease. His friendly upbeat personality was contagious. He was knowledgeable with all our stops and had great stories to tell. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed spending our three hours with him. He checked in on us after the tour and gave us some great lunch recommendations (we settled on The Bank). Our Family highly recommends this tour company (and Kevin) to those visiting the Dublin area. Their guides are professional, engaging, knowledgeable and upbeat. Paying the extra money for a private tour is so worth it. We weren’t squished with tons of people where the guides were doing more cat herding than talking. In addition, the private tour was more intimate than the large group tours. Our only complaint is that we booked the three hour tour which went by so fast. We should have booked longer to seen more of the city with Kevin. Well done Dublin Tour Guides!

Highly recommend the 3 hour tour of Dublin with John! - We took a 3 hour private walking tour of Dublin with John. He was extremely knowledgeable about Dublin and kept our group well informed throughout the tour. Beyond his extensive knowledge, John was extremely personable, interesting and fun . His knowledge of Ireland spanned well beyond the city of Dublin. We learned so much about Irish culture, politics and even the origins of Irish Coffee! If you’re interested in a tour of Dublin I highly recommend John. He is the best of the best
