The Great Causeway is Incomparable! - The Giants Causeway is a must on any tour of Ireland as was our visit to Belfast. The Dark Hedges were not worth the effort and the tour showed us Dunluce Castle from a distance. Our driver was highly skilled and we appreciated that he provided us a safe and pleasant excursion. I don't recall our tour guide's name, but he left much to be desired in the way of information and personality. Admittedly, we toured with GINA the day before and she's delightful and a very hard act to follow.

Hilarious tour guide - Quiggs was one of the most entertaining and kind tour guides I’ve ever had! He was able to balance cracking jokes and discussing sensitive history with ease. Plus, he’s a GREAT photographer ;)

A Wonderful Day in Northern Ireland - I took the Finn McCools Dublin: Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges and Belfast Tour on 28 April. In summary, I had a great experience. The tour was excellent value and enabled me and the other participants to see major highlights of Northern Ireland in one enjoyable day. Our guide Maco 10 was personable, engaging, knowledgeable, and had a pleasant sense of humor. I was particularly glad that we had approximately two full hours to explore the Giants Causeway, which was mystical and magnificent, as well as two hours to experience Belfast, among other places we visited. Don't miss drinking a pint at the Crown Saloon in Belfast. The opportunity to walk along the Dark Hedges was also a plus.

Amazing Scenery and Tour - My daughter and I had a great time on our tour with Quiggs and Saleh, our quide and driver respectively. Quiggs gave a fun and educational history of the areas as we went, including legends and folk tales of Ireland. He speaks fluent Irish, in addition to English, so it was a truly immersive ride through the countryside. The weather was phenomenal for our time at the Giant's Causeway through to Belfast. Saleh assured that we arrived safely at our destinations through narrow, winding roads. Honestly, having taken many other tours in other countries and in Ireland, I have to say that our experience with Finn McCool tours was the best we have been privileged to take!

Good tour but bad tour guide - I don’t usually write reviews, but I will this time because I do not want others to experience the same treatment as we did. We were on the tour from Dublin to Dunluce Castle, Giant’s Causeway, Dark Hedges & Belfast tour on 8/14/24 with Finn McCools Tours. The tour was adequately organized, but I would give a zero star review to our tour guide Harry. Here’s what happened: My two kids and I got onto the bus and realized all seats were taken except the four in the front row with the reserved signs on the seats. So I went to ask the tour guide Harry if we could sit there. He immediately yelled loudly at us in front of the whole bus of people “NO you can’t sit there. read the sign. That’s what reserved means. You need to pay for those seats.” I told him there wasn’t other seats left in the back. He then said angrily “I couldn't believe they over filled the bus again!” Behind us in line, there were two more passengers — two young women with lighter skin color than us. When they came on to the bus. Harry told them nicely to sit down on two of the four reserved seats. He then walked to the back of the bus to verify if there was really no seat left while leaving me and my two kids still standing in the front. He then came back and reluctantly told us to seat on the remaining two reserved seats. A gentleman on the second row kindly showed an empty seat next to him. The bus was fully filled. I was shocked and in disbelief of what just happened. Throughout the day, Harry seemed disengaged and didn’t seem to care much when sharing about the history and background behind the different stops, or really care about the visitors on his tour, for that matter. He also never apologized for his aggressive yelling/talking down to us. I couldn't believe that such a popular tour, where people come from all different parts of the world and backgrounds, could be led by such insensitive, uncaring, and unprofessional person.

The worst trip ever. Avoid Larry and Brian for your trip to Northern Ireland. - The scenery was beautiful, however Larry (our guide) has made it the worst trip ever. Larry is an asocial person and very rude. Honestly he shouldn't work with people as he hasn't any skills and personality required. Someone from the company should coach Larry how to respect clients, use microphone (only first half of the bus (with reserved seats) heared anything), smile, be nice for others and wear (it is his job not his house). To sum up, all places are great, however just to spend nice time and relax select another company e.g. Wild Rover. It isn't our first trip with this company. One day earlier we went to Cliffs of Moher with Luke and Dan and it was great. Larry and Brian should learn from Luke and Dan as they are professionals!
