Phenomenal tour and would love to do it again in the near future - Anthony was amazing he has rich knowledge about the liberties. He was really patient when we asked the questions. He explained things in great detail. He can walk really fast too haha 😄

Walking tour of the Liberties - It was just my wife and me on the tour but Anthony did a wonderful job of educating us about the Liberties neighborhood-he really made it a personal and touching experience for us. We learned much from him about the history of the Liberties and the people who lived there. If you are interested in activities that are a bit "off the beaten path," then this tour is for you. You will not be disappointed and will come away feeling as that you know much more about Dublin than you did before.

Great Walking Tour - We just wanted to say a big thank you to Adrienne for the walking tour today - we thought it was brilliant. My Da was born in the Liberties and grew up in James's St before moving to Rialto (and I went to Jamebo school myself!!) and was great for my daughter to see where her Granda was from and hear the stories from the area. Adrienne was just brilliant and we will be recommending the tour to our friends. Sent from Outlook for Android

Walking in YOUR Shoes - Anita was superb. Welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. It turned out we had attended the same school. As a Dublin 8 resident, I only knew the names of all the historical sites, Anita had all the history and spicy stories related to each place. A most enjoyable couple of hours. I would highly recommend the In Our Shoes Walking Tour to tourists but even more so to Dubliners unfamiliar with the history of our environs ( and let's face it, that's a lot of us!)

A perfect tour to learn about The Liberties - We did a bespoke tour and it was AMAZING. Adrienne was a great guide, she clearly loves the city and its history. I learned so much while having a nice stroll through the Liberties.

A learning Sunday walk - A fantastic tour of a section of my native city called the Liberties hosted by a lady named Adrienne who was a first class guide. Her in-depth knowledge of the history of the Liberties spanning centuries is extensive and very impressive as is her knowledge of contemporary Liberties. I thoroughly recommend anyone interested in the Liberties area of Dublin to do this tour. They will not be disappointed. ☘️

A working class Gotham! - A whistle-stop tour through one of Dublin’s less-celebrated districts, brought to life with great skill and enthusiasm by the wonderful and well-read guide, Adrienne (aka Ado). Hidden squares, colorful characters and a slice of Dublin combine to provide a very enjoyable 2 hours!

Authentic and engaging tour - We joined a great walking tour on a sunny Saturday afternoon with the dog and baby in tow. Our local guide was a font of knowledge in this authentic and engaging tour. We got to see Dublin and the Liberties in a new light and was a great way to spend the morning.

Authentic, friendly and informative - Adrienne was kind enough to hold the tour open for me, despite nobody else booking. Having the opportunity to experience the real Dublin around the liberties was such a privilege. Adrienne’s knowledge of the areas history, but also contemporary issues that affect its residents was outstanding, and she was a such friendly companion. I’d walk straight past the Temple Bar crowds and do this tour instead any day of the week.

A Liberties lark - A brisk tour around the lively heart of old Dublin. The Liberties is a part of the city often overlooked by tourists and even Dubliners. That's a shame as it's been central to Dublin's story since the first viking longboat landed. We heard about Guinness, Jonathan Swift, murderous madames and frisky fenians, tuggers and hairy lemons ( don't worry, all will be explained!) Adrienne (aka Aido) was friendly and smart. Like all the In Our Shoes guides, she has local connections. This meant she was both knowledgeable about the areas troubled past and hopeful for its future. Recommended. A Harte
