Worth a visit - Amazing location actually inside an old church and grounds. Pleasant rather short tour and tasting was fun. Great one family owned Irish whiskey distillery with whiskies to sample. We bought a bottle of one at the Dublin airport duty free shop when we left.

Distillery housed inside a church - Excellent visit to this small family business which has one of the production sites within the deconsecrated church of St. James in the Golden Triangle of Dublin's Liberties District. The guided tour includes both a short tour of the building and a detailed explanation of whiskey production methodology and how it differs from its Scottish cousin. At the end, we tasted some of the spirits, including the amazing rosemary-scented gin. Overall I can only recommend the visit given the particularity of the location in which the distillery is inserted.

Beautiful Distillery - Interesting history….brief but interesting. Beautifully executed distillery in a reclaimed historic building. The tour was just the right length….

Visit the only Whiskey distillery based in an old restored church in the world when visiting Dublin and enjoy a triple tipple du - A great visit to an independent family owned Whiskey and Gin Distillery with a triple Whiskey tasting experience in a beautiful historic old church building conducted by a great tourguide. From arrival, seeing the old church and it's beautifully restored blue glass spire, through the tour with a great film introduction, to seeing the magnificent copper stills in a church environment, this was a visit well worth! The highly professional and welcoming tour by the guide was enhanced by a triple Whiskey tasting experience.

Unique whiskey distillery in a church! - Very unique whiskey distillery. The history was very rich. First history of the church and then how the church became a whiskey distillery. It is interesting that most of Irish Whiskey is triple distilled but this one is distilled 2 1/2 times because they didn’t have the equipment to fit on the altar of the church space. Aesthetically it is beautiful, and the tasting afterward was quite good. The tour was very informative and I would recommend it for families and folks looking for a really unique whiskey distillery tour

Exceptional distillery with great whisky - An unique tour in which we learned a lot about the history of the church and the cemetery, as well as how the church came to be a distillery, including a detailed explanation of how the whisky is made. The church with its copper still pots and stained glass windows - in keeping with its history - was very impressive. The final tasting in the church was the grand finale - it wasn't easy; in the end we decided on the Ha'penny.

fascinating, interesting - super nice experience, low season, sounded more like a private tour! only 3 of us in total! nice video presentation as a starter , nice story telling in the graveyard which well explained the reason why the founder chose this location. the guide was well prepared , just at times little emphatic (especially at the beginning, later on better), tasting was ok (I'm not personally familiar with whiskey, just wanted the experience and learn some history about the factory and delve into the experience and the whole process). Good job Mr Pearse! fascinating and interesting, can't give higher score because I wasn't fully amazed, probably because we felt a bit lonely in the tour, as explained above. So two different perspectives about the "private tour"

Funny, small scale - Had a nice tour with a bit of history. Small-scale distillery. With a 45-minute tour, the 10-minute video takes a lot of time. Nice product. At the whiskey tasting of three, a sample turned out to be gin. I think that's really special. If you want a gin tasting, you book it. But anyway, it was funny.
