Memorable experience! - Lovely boutique distillery! I visited their sister distillery in Lexington, Kentucky as well and also had a good time there. Bernard at Pearse Lyons was the best!

Cool place. Old and new. - This is a cool new distillery in a very old location. Pearse Lyons refurbished this old church and out his distillery inside. The cemetery is still as well. The adjoining contemporary building houses the front desk and other rooms but all the stills and bar are in the old church building. I enjoyed the whiskey and was shocked that I also really really enjoyed the rhubarb flavored gin. Wow.

Great experience - Great experience in a magnificent setting.. An old church. I would have liked to have had an audio guide in French. I recommend the experience.

Try this over Jameson - We wanted to try a whiskey other than Jameson and were NOT disappointed with Pearse Lyons. Excellent. Their gin was delicious as well. The tour was great!

Best distillery and best whiskey - Science doesn't change based on location. The Pearse Lyon distillery is the coolest place to learn about distillation. Their whiskeys are the best there are. I really miss the Cooper's Select. Yer man spent 27 MIL Euro fixing up the church so he could make whiskey in it. It's really cool. I've done this tour 3 times. My friend brought me here. Then I brought my wife. Then again with my sister. It is an easy tour to miss as it's not well know, but it is the best there is.

Very interesting visit and very beautiful stills for these good whiskeys in small local production - Very beautiful story for this place and very nice visit with our guide EMILIE from Celtictours. It goes without saying that the tasting was also perfect and that I was left with a beautiful bottle.

Interesting History Info - Looking for something to do in Dublin, we did this, only took about an hour. Tour guide was interesting, loved hearing about the history of the building and how it became a distillery more than the actual tasting. We were the only people on the tour.

Interesting location - Since the tour is attended by many guests whose first language is not English, one might expect the pronunciation to be a little clearer. A tasting glass should have been included in the price, as at other distilleries. Overall, though, it was a nice tour at a special location.
