Great tour! - Great and knowledgeable guide, Darragh! I would highly recommend him and the tour. Our bus driver was phenomenal and accommodating. Both are great people.

Just Book It! - As you tromp through a darkened woods, and crest a hill, a chill runs up your spine and a cool wind caresses your neck. The feeling of invading an ancient space will thrill you in a way that can only happen in Ireland. Being guided by an amazing crew and introduced to the history of the area is, by far, the best way to encounter the spirits and the memories of the poor souls trapped in Montpelier Hill. Our viking guide was funny, entertaining and entirely engaging for the whole trip. Our driver was knowledgeable and kept things rolling -- literally and figuratively. We highly recommend going on this tour.

Horror Hike full marks - Our first time to do this horror hike, myself and my wife got on the bus at the departure point in Dublin city center. Very easy to find and the bus was there ready for us to board. Firstly met by the driver and were brought on board straight away out of the night air and drizzle. Soon our tour guide, Darragh came on board along with the other passengers and we were on our way to the Dublin mountains. It wasn't a long drive, in around 35 minutes to our destination of the notorious Hell fire club. On our way the driver, believe his name was Matt if I remember correctly gave us a run down of what we could expect on the tour and also a quick run down of the safety protocols in place as we would be walking to the site in the darkness. On arriving at the car park, we got issued with a number of safety devices from our giude and the driver which included a high viz strap, lanyards with mini torches and alarms incase anyone strayed away from the group and lanterns. Along the walk up which isn't a steep climb, but a moderate incline Darragh was really cool chatting with ourselves and others in the group. I have to say even as a Dubliner myself I was very impressed with the History and knowledge Darragh was able to bestow to us as I thought I knew pretty much all there was to know about the Hell fire club and I was wrong. Darragh was really cool, very easy to engage with and we could have easily listened to hours of information and stories about the club and the local area. We had plenty of time to enter and explore the building which is creepy enough but at night it adds a certain extra level of spookiness. The view of Dublin is absolutely stunning and you can literally look out and see it lit up all over. We were dropped back to the city center after we trekked back down to the car park, which was a really cool walk back down as the moon was full and again added to the atmosphere. Matt ( hope the name is correct ) was extremely nice and for anyone from outside of Dublin or Ireland got a great run down of some of the landmarks in the city center as we passed them, along with info on the meny things to do and places to visit in Dublin ( again some things even we had no idea about ) All in all this was one of the best tours we've done in our fair city and outside and for us it was a case of full marks. Great value, great guides and the driver was super nice and informative. Highly recommend Thanks guys Christy Healy

Great experience - Great experience! Magnificent landscapes and a top guide. A short hike of 20 minutes, half an hour, which goes uphill but which is done quietly so within everyone's reach and a guide who knows his subject like the back of his hand and is extremely kind. Perhaps to be done again at another time of the year because in June the days are long and the descent is therefore not done in the dark at all! But no regrets, it was great and I recommend 100%
