Great Experience - I have wanted to see Newgrange for years and finally got the experience this year. The bonus were the other sites we visited. It was a nice sized group of 20 people from various countries. The bus was very comfortable and our guide Matt was fantastic. Matt is very personable and has great knowledge of the attractions we visited. He was always aware of peoples needs and patiently answered our questions. He spoke with great enthusiasm and very honestly about the history of some of the sites and what occurred there. He made it fun with his humor and pleasant manner. He explained everything clearly and gave us ample time to explore and take photos. One of the best tours I have taken in years of travel. Matt is a great guide, driver and very informative. The sites are amazing and well worth taking the day to visit.

Great tour to learn more about Irish history - Great tour. Matt was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and a true history buff. Tour is slightly changed from the description, but a minor issue. This is a small bus tour which made it much more personal. Matt also pointed out many other sights not listed in the tour description.

A fabulous day of history & scenery - Visiting Newgrange was the reason for my trip to Ireland. The icing on the cake was going inside the passage. The entire day, that included also seeing Knowth, then viewing monastery ruins, and the cemetery at Monasterboice, with Celtic crosses, was so informative. I did not know of the mass burial grounds of famine victims throughout Ireland, one of which was adjacent to the cemetery. A day of learning about the genius of those in ancient times and the senseless cruelty of more recent times (Famine & Dissolution of Monasteries). Matt was a terrific guide, imparting a lot of information & keeping us on schedule.

Newgrange was fascinating and informative! - Newgrange and Knowth were amazing locations to visit, especially if you are interested in archeology. The fact that these structures were constructed long before Stonehenge and the Giza pyramids was fascinating to learn about. The reenactment of the winter solstice light projection was incredible.

Excellent Tour With Outstanding Guide - This was a very well organized tour, and Matt was an excellent guide who was unusually well informed about the sites and their history. Because the sites were less than an hour north of Dublin, we had enough time to explore each of them and enjoy lunch. Highly recommended!

Great trip - I’ve always wanted to see these Neolithic tombs and I wasn’t disappointed. Our guide at Knowth was very informative and going into the passage at Newgrange was great. Our driver Johnny was good, pointing out points of interest on our way and giving recommendations when asked.

World heritage Site - Well Worth the the Time and Effort - If you are a history buff, Newgrange is an experience you should definitely do. The small group guided tour was great and there was much to see and learn. Knowth was also an exceptional site. Only complaint is about the "OPW" guide who said that no one really knows how the site was built but she would gladly make up something for us - very disappointing.

A day of early Irish history - Newgrange was everything I had hoped for. Visiting Knowlth was a bonus. And the medieval monasteries were rich in history and Celtic crosses. A full day expertly navigated by guide Matt.

Amazing Neolithic Sites. - The historical significance of the mound tombs at Newgrange and Bru na Broinne is incredible. Seeing these sites was awesome. Our guide. Kevin, was good but not as enthusiastic as some tours we've been on.

Do this in good weather - You really need good weather to enjoy this tour. We didn't have it. It was cold, rainy and windy. I thought the tour guide could have done more with info during the drive out and back. He was repetitive. We were all soaked and cold. The site was fascinating and I am glad I went but.....
