So close to everything you could want in Durham - Hello all from Cliff the Aussie, currently in Durham City U.K. My wife and I are in Durham for a few months more before returning to Western Australia. With some time to spare this morning after walking around the centre of the area we thought to go for a wander and find somewhere for coffee and lunch. A short walk and we found "The Neighbourhood at Hotel Indigo Durham". Open for breakfast and lunch the place is just minutes walking distance from the thriving centre of Durham City. Inside the decor is friendly and tidy with space to spare on the ground and upper levels. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch and the menu is substantial and realistically priced to cater for locals and travellers. The cakes were delicious and our meals were tasty. My wife recommends the Turkey Club Baguette and my breakfast wrap fed my healthy appetite with ease. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our needs. They were efficient and super friendly and we look forward to seeing the team again next year. Thanks for everything. Cliff and Susan the Aussies.

Perfect Guide for Durham - Ken was a fabulous tour guide for our family trip to Durham. He personalized our walking tour to suit our interests at our pace. He is a polished communicator and shared many points of interest and stories we would not have found on or own or with guide books. His local and historical knowledge was remarkable. He also pointed out some great places to eat during our visit. I highly recommend his walking tour. Thank you Ken!

Informative tour of city and Cathedral - Ken was very informative with so much knowledge but put it across in a very informal way so not too high brow. We saw some lovely views of the city that you would not find on your own and his knowledge of the cathedral when inside just brought it to life for you. Great tour fully recommend.
