Historical guided tour of Durham - We thoroughly enjoyed our walking guided tour with Peter. He was a very knowledgeable tour guide and the historical facts were well presented in an interesting and humorous way. The tour took us round areas of Durham we might not have discovered otherwise and was the perfect length (1.5 hours) to learn about the history behind Durham but not be overloaded with facts. We would thoroughly recommend Peter’s tour.

The walk covered the city's best vantage points enabling us to fully appreciate the wonderful architecture and take some fantastic pictures. A great story-filled ramble around this beautiful city - Peter the guide is knowledgeable and good company. I learned some fascinating nuggets of info, and felt that I'd seen 'a bit of everything', so it's a perfect tour if you have limited time to explore.

Highly recommended! - Our guide (I think it was Peter?) was excellent; personable and very knowledgeable. He'd undertaken his own research deeper into the city's history so was able to bring with him stories and facts that you would not otherwise have known about. Really enjoyed it despite the rain and cold!

Amazing we had snow too which was extra pretty - Amazing tour really good conversations and questions answered throughout really recommend . The history of Durham is far more interesting than we ever thought, we got on great with the guild . It was our mini moon so added to the magic make sure you book on! Not to be missed
