The boarding process has transitioned from a fixed pier to floating pontoons. Due to tidal variations, these pontoons may not always be ideal for wheelchair access. It is recommended to contact the operator prior to your journey, allowing them to evaluate the tides and provide appropriate guidance.

We run frequent trips originating from Rossaveal on the Connemara coast, traveling to Kilronan, the primary town on Inishmore. You can catch one of our ferries four times a day during the high season, with departures evenly distributed from 9am to 6pm. The voyage itself takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon reaching the island, take time to discover its charming traditional village which boasts a variety of activities, dining options, and stores. Additional exploration options include a horse-cart service or mini-bus tours, both available upon disembarking.

For those coming from Galway City, we provide a timely coach service to Rossaveal, our departure location. It’s roughly a one-hour drive or 50 kilometers from the city.
