Better be in shape for the clima, but well worth it. - Both guides but especially Elena were marvolous. Perhaps start earlier so the pace is not so fast and more time to enjoy the views.

Beautiful Hike - I booked this tour, spur of the moment, while on the plane flying to Ireland with my 21 year old twins. I’m not in the greatest shape so I was honestly regretting signing up but it turned out to be so much fun. The hike was great and Glendalough is so beautiful. The view, from the top, was amazing and we saw deer, goats and sheep hanging out. It was cloudy so we couldn’t see the stars but I’m sure it’s breathtaking. Our guides were so nice and very informative about the history of the area. Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation.

Treat yourself to this spectacular evening - Could not more highly recommend this, we had a perfect cloudless evening, the goats and deer came out to say hey, the hike was fantastic and Ronan and Matthew guided us with great care, folklore and information, blackout in the miners village with nothing but stars and the moon was magical, I will be back 🌙💫✨️

Night Time Adventure - Booked this adventure with a couple of friends. We had two guides. Matthew lead while Ronan was the sweeper. Both guys were engaging and very knowledgeable. The pace was moderate to fast in places. We enjoyed the shared knowledge and chit chat. The scenery is beautiful. It was cool to have Glendalough to ourselves. Hiking in the dark (head torches) was exhilarating, The weather held for us - it was clear and cold at times perfect for viewing the stars. I would happily book it again with Wild Summits.

Amazing tour done solo with a lovely intimate group and two fantastic tour guides! - I saw an ad for this tour on insta and I'm a big fan of glendalough but this seemed like a unique opportunity to see it in a different way. I booked to go alone and the tour group were lovely as were the guides. The opportunity to go and see Glendalough in daylight through to sunset, dusk and then darkness was amazing. You do need to be prepared for a hard slog....I've never hiked before so was able for this no problem but need to be prepared for uneven ground and concentration required esp towards the end as the ground becomes more uneven and the darkness has completely fallen. At one point towards the end I did wonder why I wanted to walk round in the dark when I couldn't see anything but when you get to the lakeshore and stop to take in the breathtaking view of the starry sky, its all worth it!! Absolutely cannot recommend this enough, would definitely do it again!

A hike well worth doing - The Wicklow night hike is an amazing experience. The scenery and atmosphere set an unique experience.
The hike was a challenge but my group all felt amazing that we had completed it.
Our guides were very knowledgeable about the area and made the information interesting and funny.

Need for more attention to safety in the mountains - The idea of the night hike and the route chosen was really good. The historical and environmental information given by one of the leaders was interesting. However, the information about the challenge of the walk was not sufficient. It was 14k and 400metre elevation and we were only told this when we arrived. One if our group did not have enough experience and especially at night to manage this and became unwell. As there was only two leaders for a large group, there was insufficient contingency. When our friend had to leave the walk ,one of the leaders would have allowed her to return alone. I went back with her and the rest of our group continued. In fairness they thoroughly enjoyed the walk. However if the leaders had good mountain leader training they would have done more to ensure that people coming on the walk had the capacity for the challenge and there would have been a better contingency plan.
I would not recommend the company unless they put more emphasis is safety in the mountains.
