Great Customized Experience! - Joel was an amazing guide. We told him the sights we wanted to see/cover and he developed the best approach to make sure we did everything! Very knowledgeable as he was born and raised here.

Wonderful. Day trip at Roaton, Honduras! - Really loved how simple it is to book with them via WhatsApp chat. Reservation is simple. Instructions after coming out of port are simple. Pricing and payments are made simple. Now the review of actual trip and adventure: Our driver Jol(Joël) is friendly courteous and funny at the same time. He made us comfortable, and explained about the trip schedule. He made sure we are aware of the important facts about Honduras, while driving to the spots, showed us important landmarks on the way. He made sure we were not bored during the drive, found ways to make sure our waits, at sloth monkey iguana parks , shorter by moving around the different parks. He also have us some fresh delicious mangoes from near by trees. He made us assured about returning back to dock on time (we’re worried as the cruise shortened our stay outside by 1.5 hours). Ask for Jol if you are going with Roaton adventure tours. Overall the trip is great and is well priced for Sloth/monkey (enjoyed holding the sloth, and monkey petting is marvelously funny with a group of harmless monkeys jumping around and on you.) and tours( you can feed them and pet them, very domesticated) and mangrove boat tour. Later I found out from one of my other cruise travelers that their monkey tour is different with one monkey. So definitely recommend Roaton Adventure Tours

Ron is excellent! Best tour in Roatan - In short, Ron was an exceptional tour guide around Roatan for the day. From the initial "welcome drink" (sort of like a lightly carbonated, more fruit-forward soda - orange or watermelon) to our request to pickup a bottle of locally-produced rum, the tour was top notch. Initially, it's a little disorienting to navigate to the pickup spot, which is immediately outside the exit gate of the cruise port, but that's largely due to the repainting of the port buildings. I've tried to address that with the pics I'm attaching here. But once we located the Roatan Adventure Tours rep greeting customers just outside the gate, after a short wait, we were on our way for the day. Highlights from the excursion were: - The monkey / sloth / bird sanctuary - definitely a favorite of the kids and some great photos and memories to be had. (Admission not included, but cost was ~$43 US for 2 adults, 2 kids.) - Souvenir shopping at the market atop a hill (with great views) - bring cash, small bills! - Beach club for wading in the ocean water and playing in the sand, or sitting in the shade and eating / drinking while listening to live music. (Pay for what you want) - Of course, Ron's excellent hospitality and bottomless knowledge as a multi-generational Roatan native! Can't recommend this excursion enough if you're stopping in Roatan on your cruise.

Excellent tour - This was so much fun. Ron picked us up at the port and then took us to get the best fresh squeezed orange juice I've ever had. We asked Ron to take us to the sloth and monkey rescue, the Mayan chocolate factory, and then the beach where we finished out our day. Ron sat and watched all our personal items while we swam and snorkled. Ron was very personable and a lot of fun. He gave us a lot of history about Roatan and would point out things of interest while driving. In my opinion this is the best way to see Roatan and I highly recommend this private tour. Ron is awesome.

Best Day of the Cruise - Ron, our driver from Roatan Adventure Tours picked us up a short distance from the port. Independent tour operators are not allowed to pick up at the port facility but it’s just a short walk up a hill and back down again, about 1/4 mile. We took a taxi that distance due to some folks in our party with limited mobility. The short taxi ride was $2 each. We opted to spend our day at the beach instead of the monkey and sloth park and we think it was a good trade. Ron took us out to a nice beach club at the west bay called Bananarama. For $15 per person we got beach chairs in the shade right in the sand. We took a break after a while and had lunch there as well. The food was good and the prices very reasonable ($9 for fish tacos). There was the option to ride a towed banana or paraglider but we chose to relax, swim and chill. The beach at West Bay has to be the best almost anywhere. The sand goes all the way into the water and the waves are very gentle. It was thoroughly enjoyable. It’s one on my favorite places on the planet. After about four hours we went back to the port in time to do some shopping. It was my favorite day of the cruise.

Any where we wanted to go! - My friends and I had a great trip with Ron. He took us to all the locations we wanted to go and stopped to get us water mellow juice which by the way was very refreshing. He sat with our things at the beach while we same so we didn’t have to worry about them. Also stopped at locations for photos. Highly recommend.

Great tour that gave us a... - Great tour that gave us a wonderful overview of the island. The kids particularly liked the sloths, monkeys, and iguanas.

Amazing trip with an awesome guide! - We went with family and friends and had requested out guides ahead of time. They were amazing and arrived on time to pick up. Had all the necessary details and provided information, took us on a ride through the island and arranged for impromptu snorkeling based on our ask. I would highly recommend them and the company to anyone who is looking to tour Roatan.
