Amazing beach day! - This was an amazing excursion for our cruise! Artmon was our driver and guide for the day and he took great care of us! He made sure we had plenty of time for all our activities and took us on an awesome tour of the island! He really made the experience a 10/10!! The beach was a great hangout spot, and the water was incredible. Kayaking and snorkeling was also amazing. William, our snorkeling guide, did a great job! We were a little apprehensive since this was our first time booking excursions through tripadvisor rather than through the cruise, but it was 100% worth it!

Roatan and the scenic tour - Unfortunately the weather was not conducive to kayak as the water was too ruff and there was too much wind. Our tour guide from Roatan Anderson Tours, Mr. Jamie Lisandro Ruiz (pronounced Hi mee) advised us that we would not have a good time kayaking and took us around the island. It was a wonderful experience. He drove us to the Rum Factory, the shopping areas, through some residential areas for a cultural experience and we stopped at looking at the sloth's and monkeys. Lunch was provided and we had an authentically cooked red snapper fish. Jamie did a great job and I would highly recommend others to seek him out for his experiences.

Best Snorkeling in the World - Our guide Richard took us to the West Bay area for snorkeling. We held back a little bit as the beach was quite busy for the Christmas Holiday.. Then we walked into the water! It was extraordinary - so many fish we needed an encyclopedia - just off shore. Truly beautiful. Our guide also arranged for freshly steamed fish for lunch which was a wonderful addition. I really hope to be able to go back sometime in the future and spend more time.

Fun - Had a great time kayaking!!! The water and beach were beautiful. The guide Erwin was great. Very helpful with any questions and very very knowledgeable of the whole island in general. Had a great time. Couldn’t ask for more. Ask for Erwin and just have fun!

Don't waste your money - We booked this trip through Anderson Tours. Compared to other excursions we did, it was totally overpriced. Our guide, Artman, was very nice and we thoroughly enjoy spending time with him. But the kayak wasn't comfortable and we didn't take a boat out to the reef. Instead, we swam out there from the beach. Even then, the main goal seemed to be selling us pictures rather than appreciating the beauty of the reef. By comparison, we also book the Hydrobikes & Snorkeling With Private Island At Your Leisure which was run by Mark Bodden. Peter, the guide for the Hydrobikes, took us around the French Keys, Fantasy Island, and Brady's Cay. It was obvious that Peter loved the island and the reef. It was a bit of exercise but it was refreshing at the same time. When we returnws, Jordan captained the boat and Eli lead the snorkeling tour. The boat brought us to a beautiful part of the reef and Eli guided us. At one point, he saw some trash on the floor of the ocean and dove down to retrieve it. Whereas the guide for Anderson's seemed primarily interested in selling us pictures, Eli was interested in communicating his love of the reef. My girlfriend, who has snorkeled many, many times was so impressed with everything that she was close to tears. And here's the kicker. The Anderson's tour cost MOST than the Hydrobikes & Snorkeling. It was a waste of money. Also, the description on Viator said something about tasting rum and chocolate. That never happened.
