Moldova with surprises - Wonderful day, gorgeous guide, Leonard!.The Capriana monastery with its beautiful paintings, Chisinau and the soon-to be Unesco World Heritage Cricova winery....we had a perfect day!

Excellent - I haven’t had much time in Iasi, but Sophia was very helpful trying to find the best option for me. It was really the best option. Tour guide Leonard was very helpful, informative and created enjoyable time. He explained local habits, interesting places, how local people live, and at the end a fantastic wine tasting.

Great Guide!! - Our guide for this trip was Leo (Leonard) and he was an excellent guide. My daughter and I really wanted to see Moldova and this was the perfect day trip from Romania. Leo was informative and the day was just as advertised. When I booked the trip, I was a little concerned about the price- not knowing that this was a private tour. But now knowing that it was just the two of us with the guide, I can say it was definitely worth it. We had a nice stop at a Monastery and in the capital city, but the highlight of the tour was the Cricova Winery. The tour there takes you into the maze of their underground tunnels and it was very interesting. At the end of the tour, Leo showed us a few sites in Iasi, and dropped us off at a lovely authentic Romanian restaurant. This is a long day, but a great trip if you are interested in crossing the border.

A nice day trip from Iasi to a different country. - Our guide made this trip a winner. He was very personable and a library of knowledge. He answered ALL our questions and accommodated us by taking us to a place we asked to see in Chisinau and to a souvenir store. I suggest you do your research as there are not many tourist attractions in Chisinau. The winery tour, provided by the winery, was nice and we learned a lot.

Great trip - Our guide was punctual and welcomed us with espresso in the car. Also Florin and his driver George took care of us and they provided a good amount of different information about the country, culture, food or traditions. We crossed the borders between Romania and Moldova smoothly and continued the trip to the first stop. We really enjoyed the Monastery and Sunday service, only to observe. Then we went to Chisinau, capital city of the country. Unfortunately we didn't see the main attractions of the city because it was a run competition that day. Sadly our tour guide was surprised too and in our opinion he didn't have a plan B to show us something different in Chisinau. We were waiting over 35 minutes in Cricova underground vineyard for our tour. In our opinion this time can be better prepared. The underground city was spectacular and the tour was well organised. Also, we had a chance to try five different wines with local snacks. We had a great time and fun! The place is one of the places which you should say "Must see". Overall the tour was very good. Also, we would like to thank you for an extra morning stop where we had a chance to try a local, warm snack. To sum up we recommend this tour with them. Thank you.

Great day trip - Enjoyed the trip very much. Well organised and very informative. Florin, our guide, was great. Very good communication, right on time picking us up from the hotel. Drove us safely to and from Chisinau. Highly recommend the tour.

The best guide ever - The trip to Chisinau-Cricova with departure from Iasi was unexpectedly beautiful! First of all, we had a fantastic communication with our guide George, who picked us up from the location, and we received a beautiful description of the history of the places we passed! Chisinau particularly impressed us as well as our dear George who is a professional in the art of speaking, we learned more from him than in the history books. Arrived in Cricova, the living and the prompt and well-organized way made us feel good and especially the way the wines were presented at the tasting. The day ended with a short trip to the Capriana monastery, where we left with an overflowing energy and a wonderful landscape between borders!

Company provides solutions to problems, good itinerary. - Small blip, no tour guide available but Rolandia provided me with a very pleasant driver. Great sights. We actually visited Milestii Mici winery instead of Cricova. Thank you for ensuring I could make it to Moldova! It was great to see a snapshot of another country on my tour of Eastern Europe! Thank you :)

Interesting day - Interesting excursion to get an overview of Moldova in 1 day, the guide is nice, listening, explains well and tells anecdotes which creates some proximity

Keystone Cops - Although some of what I am writing might seem negative - it is not a reflection on the driver or the tour. Unfortunately, several stops by Moldovan Police for unrelated traffic offences (last year) delayed the tour at the start. Although my driver Leonard handled this admirably even under the threat of goal the lost time meant rearranging the order of places visited. We headed to Chisnau for lunch but walking around was curtailed by the need to make a fixed tour time at the Cricova Winery. This tour was extremely interested and the Cricova tour guide made the trip very informative. If I had one negative issue it was that when the tour ended you were left to negotiate your own way back through dark tunnels with limited signage. The final trip to the monastery by the time we arrived it was almost dark hence limited photo opportunities. Overall the driver Leonard was excellent and full of interesting anecdotes
