Mamen's historical perspective of Cordoba's Alcázar (fortress) - Mamen kindly explained Cordoba's Alcázar. She gave us an historical perspective of the fortress, connecting ancient social order with the modern usage of the building. We all liked the explanation and we are grateful for her.

Recommended 100% - A highly recommended experience since the building has had different uses over time and to explain everything as well as our guide Patricia did is a luxury. It is certainly worth the guided tour.

Miss Inquisition. - Good guide with humor. Clear explanation of the Inquisition and the misunderstandings about it. Handled the questions well. Sometimes a little harder to follow due to the Spanish accent. Recommended.

Alcazar worth visiting you don't really need a guide - There really isn't a lot to see in the Alcazar so sorry not sure a guided tour is needed although the tour was reasonably priced. Our guide Isabelle was very knowledgeable but she spent 30 minutes telling us about the place in the corridor. Can you feedback that she needs breaks up her dialogue into shorter sessions around the interior as our group lost interest in what she was saying. We tried to subtlety indicate she should move on but think the whole problem is there isn't much to see and that the best bit are the gardens and you don't need a guide for this.

I didn't know much about our Guide. - The Alcazar itself is worth a visit. It is a small building with magical gardens. The Guide very nice but hardly told us beyond what the plates said. She could not resolve the doubts we raised about what she was telling us (she lacked information and training). Too bad.

Cordoba’s Castle and its Garden - Not much inside the castle to view. You may walk around and enjoy the outdoor (Piscinas) pools and the garden. I recommend that you climb the tower, it is a narrow path but it’s worst it.

Guided tour - The visit was very short, and we were not taken to every room. We had to climb the tower on our own. I recommend visiting each one on your own.
