No where else on the Planet will you will find such an exceptional testimony to an alliance of faith and art - This is an example of two cultures Co-existing. An old Mosque was consecrated into the catherdal of Santa Maria. Mass is still held here daily since 1236. Amazing. This has been a National monument since 1882.

The good reception and dedication of a guide: David - On Tuesday, March 5, my wife Isabel and I, along with a small group of participants, were lucky enough to visit the Mosque of Córdoba with a guide, David, who left us enchanted by his enormous knowledge of art, history. and anecdotes related to the magnificent building, which he detailed to us in simple, understandable and entertaining language. After the visit, he delighted us with a phenomenal walk through the Jewish Quarter, conveying to us the peculiarities of the area. Thank you David, you are an extraordinary guide

Great - Great guide, lots of information, not boring. Everything was presented very well. The building looks small, but it is huge! Highly recommended!

Cultural Integration - The retention of islamic art despite the Christian conquest. The world is a better place when we respect and preserve other cultures

Group too large - Group too big, tour too long, guide difficult to understand. Would have preferred to walk through without tour. Only took tour to skip the line but should have done alone

A bit too long and detailed- guides English very difficult to follow - It’s an amazing place. Is a must visit. To see a Cathedral built inside a mosque has to be unique. The history of this place needs telling. But was too detailed for me and the guide though very knowledgeable was difficult to follow as spoke English with a very heavy accent. An hour would be long enough

VERY Knowledgeable tour guide but too many details for those not into history. - This tour should be broken into two groups of people....the people who want the highlights and the people who want allllllll the details. Half the group was done and many were taking off headsets and just leaving halfway through and the other half were standing next to the guide and asking tons and tons of questions. It was clear there should have been two groups of tours. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and the info given was great but after a while it was just toooo much, especially for a 12 year old and teen girls. We took the tour so we could see the inside and get some history of it but at times we stood in the same place for 15 mins going into great details and out of 20 people maybe 2 were still listening while the rest walked around taking pics. I do not recommend this tour for kids under 14.

I would look for a different tour guide - Our guide was difficult to hear, lots os static or feedback on headsets. Also he didn’t seem to care at all about the surroundings, it was hard to engage and follow him

Don’t use this company - Viator cancelled my tour the day before I was to travel to Granada. The Alhambra was the reason I travelled to Spain from the U.S. with my 85 year old mother. Not pleased or impressed. They didn’t have any backup plan for this type of problem—apparently some computer mixup. The stock email they sent was tone deaf. I am of course very relieved they are addressing the problem, but how does that help me?
