Wonderful Tour of The Mezquita - The mosque cathedral is an amazing structure and our guide had in depth knowledge that she shared with us. She answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. She gave us plenty of time to take photos.

The mosque is breathtaking. Our guide, Maria, was terrific. She answered all our questions about the mosque. - The most memorial part of this tour were the columns in the mosque. Each column was signed by whomever originally sculpted it. This tour brought home the skill and talent achieved by the people who built the mosque. It is truly breathtaking.

Cordoba - I have visited many parts of the Moslem world for professional reasons…. From Tunisia, Egypt,Jordan Iraq and Iran. The Spain of the Moors was the missing part of my vocabulary. The Mezquita in Cordoba with the concept of all three major religions existing in harmony is something we could learn from today.

Enriched my visits to Cordoba highlights - I enjoyed tours of the Jewish quarter and the Mezquita with guide Angel one day and the Alcazar with Maria the next day. Both added a lot to my experience by explaining the history of each place and pointing to visual highlights I might otherwise have missed. They both had maps and diagrams that clearly illustrated the evolution of the two main sights: Mezquita and Alcazar.

Really Interesting Tour - Angel Jr. was our guide and he was fantastic - very knowledgeable, nice, and with a good sense of humor. I found this tour to be fascinating and would definitely recommend it. We were there in February, and although it was almost 70 degrees F outside, it was cold inside the mosque and I was glad I had my jacket with me.

Alhambra - Careful there. No real tickets are included and those are sold out for months. You need to book your ticket a long time in advance, think about it. Nevertheless in the public areas that we could access, our guide has been enchanting.

Guide never showed - My family drove for hours to Cordoba for this private mosque tour and when we arrived the tour guide wasn’t at the meeting point. She said she didn’t notice the reservation was for today. She issued a full refund but it was too late for us to arrange a new guide or even get audio assistance so we saw the mosque on our own with no historical context. Ruined it for us.
