- Rutherford Beach - Drag’N Tail’Z Surf Fishing offers a family and handicap-friendly land-based fishing guide service. Welcoming kids and pets, no boat is required. Your guide will meet you on the beach at your chosen date and time. We fish at Rutherford Beach, Holly Beach, and other beaches in SW Louisiana. The guide will select the optimal fishing spot based on seasonal and tidal conditions or your preference. We provide all necessary equipment for a fun and relaxing beach fishing trip. You need to bring a fishing license, towels, chairs, snacks, drinks, and sunscreen. Don’t forget beach toys for the kids. For extended trips, a camper is available at no extra cost. The guide will handle setup, baiting, wading, and casting. Feel free to ask questions and learn about surf fishing. We specialize in catching large Red Drum, but you may catch various other species. All Red Drum over 27 inches will be tagged and released.
