Fantastic experience - After searching for the perfect place to be able to cater for both my children and myself Coloured Cob came up and had everything we needed, which were a variety of size horses, staff with understanding and patience the ability to have lessions or treak. Not only have we found the perfect place for us to ride we have found a new friends. Coloured Cob has changed our lives in a way we can't describe. I've rekindled my love for horses and remember the peace they bring helping with my mental health struggles. My daughter has gained confidence and enjoying doing something that all her effort shows. My son has found a new passion and the staff and horses have brought out a side of him that was very rarely seen by anyone. School have praised and friends and family have noticed a difference and a carm side. My son even said "I've been a lot better since going to the horses" the first thing he does is run to find Gail and tell her how good he has been. The lessons are great very informative and you leave feeling accomplished and learn something new every time. The treaks around Cresswell Crags and surrounding area are so peaceful for us as my daughter and son build up to the faster paced rides. We as a family highly recommend Coloured Cob Thank you

Trek review - Booked a pony trek for my daughter and her friend, both aged 12 at the time. My daughter regularly rides at the Stables but her friend is a complete novice. Lynn walked my daughters friend out on the trek. She was polite and chatty, and knowledgeable. The location for the treks is very picturesque. Makes for a lovely 45 minute trek. I couldnt recommend a better place to ride. Coloured Cob literally offers everything. They have a variety of instructors who are all very good. They offer side saddle lessons, carriage rides, treks and hacking. This is a perfect place for anyone wanting to ride and for all ages.

10/10 experience for anyone❤️ - Absolutely fantastic equestrian centre!!! Cater for any ability’s from complete beginners all up to advanced riders. Absolutely brilliant with all abilities from little ones up to adults and also people with special needs, as my sister herself has special needs and shes been to pony club on a Friday a few times and has loved every second of it and the staff and horses are just amazing with her and everyone else. Myself also loves this fantastic yard as the amount of opportunity’s they’ve opened for me so far has made me over the moon, where I am today I wouldn’t have been able to do this without my amazing yard family I’ve already made. Definitely would recommend this yard a million times to anyone that wants to start riding or come back to riding this is the place to be, the range of ponies and horses here and are all absolutely amazing in there own ways. Most definitely the most kindest and beautiful horses/ponies you’ll ever meet or be able to ride. The lessons, trekking and carriage lessons/ rides. They’re all fab. Would highly recommend to anyone that’s wanting to ride.

Great experience - Booked this for my wife and foster daughter who loves horses. The staff (Ellie and Caitlin) that took us on the trek were excellent. The horses are really calm and other than Flynn trying eat everything he passes they are great for casual trekking. Big Shout out to Ellie who also took our foster daughter around the stables afterwards and let her feed the horses some treats.

Wonderful experience - highly recommended! - What a great day we had. The staff were wonderful, especially Gayle who greeted me, helped me with fitting my helmet, showing me where to get changed etc. She was so friendly and kind. It was appreciated very much. She spent a lot of time with me making me feel at ease. Ellie, who led my pony Faith, was also brilliant, so helpful and kind too. My husband could walk along with us, and we had a fantastic time, really enjoyable. The photos came out nicely, we had a beautiful walk along Creswell Crags. Can't recommend Coloured Cobb enough, thank you everyone for making it a day to remember!
