• Balea Waterfall - Located at 1200 m high altitude, beautiful and wild with more then 60 m water drop, Balea Waterfall is a must see in the area. We will have to walk for 15 minutes until the base of the waterfall. For the ones that prefer to avoid the short hike, then there is a view point were we can stop with the car to admire it.

For instance, at a height of 2034 meters, we reach the stunning Balea Lake, after marveling at the Balea Waterfall. The area is bustling with vendors offering food, drinks, and keepsakes. The scenery is breathtaking, it’s like paradise on earth! If you’re eager to explore more and time isn’t an issue, we have an optional no-cost excursion to either the watermill in Lisa, a quaint village, to witness the age-old felting method. Alternatively, we can enjoy a delectable lunch (meal cost not included) at the Albota restaurant.
