Incredible views! - It was a VERY long day and A LOT of walking, but the views are worth it!! To get there, we traveled through the different areas of Croatia & our guide was amazing and shared history on each of the areas we passed through (which I wasn’t expecting). We actually had 2 guides on our trip and they both took very good care of our group. I’m so glad we went! It was a day I’ll never forget & now I have a new phone background 😁

Great day trip! Value for money! But high entrance fee at the lakes. - I did a small group tour with Roundabout from Zagreb to the Plitvice Lakes with a brief stop over at a scenic village along the way . Well worth it. Stjepan Klaric , the guide was great . He kept us hooked on the region , the nuances and the culture and answered all our questions with ease. Before the trip started Roundabout treated me to a free walking tour of Zagreb with the same guide . That was brilliant.

It was a long day but... - It was a long day but well worth it. We were lucky as it wasn't to busy so queues were short. The guide was very good.

Definitely worth the long journey - The Plitvice Lakes and waterfalls are stunning and definitely worth the long journey. Our guide was also very helpful. We just wish that we’d been advised to take food with us as there was very little opportunity to buy food and the quality of what was on offer at the service station stops and park was very poor.

Worth every cent - It is a long long day (I departed from Rovinj) but 100% worth it. Comfy bus, great driver, you can to see a significant part of Croatia and then Plitvice, which is something that words cannot describe. Be prepared to walk a lot, but it is a fairly easy walk. After Plitvice late dinner, with an ok meal included in the price.

Amazing tour with informative guide, pack a coat! - We booked the tour from Rovinj. It was a long trip but well worth it: the tour guide gave us a detailed history of Croatia, including details about the regions we passed along the way. The lakes are stunning but very busy. Weather in the hinterlands away from the coast is a lot colder and wetter. Was run very smoothly, the team was great.

Reinvgorating walk through the beautiful Plitvice Lakes national partk - We enjoyed the tour very much, even though it was a long day from 8am till 11pm due to the long drive out to Plitvice Lakes from Istria. Maria was very helpful and gave us a lot of mental preparation of what to expect, and waited for us during the walk in the park as we were among the slower walkers. The views of the waterfalls and lakes were well worth the trip. Would have been nice to have 1 hour of downtime in the park, but it would be difficult as we had to get back to Istria.

Wasted - Wasted day. Most of it you will spend in the bus, and just a bit at lakes. If you would like to take photos, it will be on the go.
