• Plitvice Lakes National Park - Plitvice Lakes are one of Europe’s most spectacular natural wonders and pleasure to visit at any time of year. This wonderful natural phenomenon consists of 16 interconnected lakes - all situated at a different level - and over 90 waterfalls of different size. The colour of the water is changing from emerald green to aqua blue and it’s so clear that you can easily see through, almost better than in any aquarium. Just like with any other wonders of nature, you have to visit and make your own impression.

• Rastoke - On the way to Plitvice Lakes, relax your body and mind in Rastoke - picturesque watermill village near the town of Slunj. Due to some records, village was built in 17th century and is situated where river Slunjčica and Korana meet. Rest with a cup of coffee and enjoy multitude of waterfalls, rapids, small lakes and cascades before you take a hike at stunning Plitvice Lakes.

On this journey, you’re granted 5 hours to explore the National Park independently. Our aim is to let you experience the National Park at your preferred speed. Instead of trailing behind a guide and matching the group’s tempo, our expedition offers you the liberty to decide what sights you want to visit and the distance you wish to traverse. Should you enjoy walking and intend to visit both Upper and Lower lakes, splendid! You’ll be taking route C. Your speed might be a bit more brisk, but you will have viewed the entire park. If a leisurely pace suits you better, with sufficient time for pauses, route B will be your path. This route represents the highlights of the Plitvice Lakes, passing the Great waterfall and throwing in electric boat and train rides. Plitvice Lakes tickets are not factored into our service’s cost, but we have reserved a spot for you. Be certain to carry the exact cash amount for tickets on the tour day. The cost of tickets varies based on the season and the visitor’s age.

• If you would like to see most popular spots in National Park, you will have to walk for approximately 5 hours
• Depending on the weather conditions some parts of the park may be restricted
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• Please take: good walking shoes, and sportswear. For summer: sunprotection, water. Offseason: In case of rain raincoat or an umbrella and bring also a warm sweater or jacket.
