- Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve - You will explore the awesome cave system, tubing, swimming, walking inside a huge Crystal cave including the cave-tubing portion and see several more caves including the Crystal Cave which large columns, broken pots once used more than a thousand years ago, the frozen crystal waterfall wall, the rock formation that looks like a jaguar and many more crystal formations that mesmerizes the imagination in this awesome unique underworld. The drive from the port to the cave area is 1 hour, a hike thru a forest path for 20 minutes, the guide navigates the tubes thru the caves showing the formations along the way. the tubes are big, have seat mesh bottoms, all around tow rope, back rest and cup holders. each participant is fitted with a life jacket, helmet and head lamp. At the water fall some standing and walking inside the caves is required to see the formations inside the caves. After exploring this unique cave system, the float continues to the Caves Exit then it’s a float on the open river for 10 minutes to arrive near the parking area. With quite a appetite, its time to enjoy a hearthy Belizean Style Lunch and time to return to the water taxi, port, hotel.

The guide provides helmets, lights, and jackets. The walk to the cave entrance takes about 25 minutes at your own pace. Enjoy swimming in the pristine, spring-fed water.
