- Mangrove Point - This local tradition will have you donning your snorkel gear and jumping in to enjoy what has been likened to a “salt water scavenger hunt” or “underwater easter egg hunt”. These tasty mollusks seat themselves in the grass beds in and around Crystal River and Homosassa. You simply snorkel around searching for your savory treasures… pick them up and place them in your mesh scallop bag! It’s that easy.
You will also enjoy viewing a wide variety of fish, sea stars, sponges and coral on your scalloping excursion. Scallop season runs from July 1st to September 24th. All VIP tours are approximately seven (7) hours in length with ample and comfortable seating for up to 6 passengers, as well as masks, fins, snorkels and Florida saltwater fishing license as well as bottled water.
There are two dedicated on board Yeti coolers to keep any beverages and snacks you bring aboard cold. Boats also feature bimini tops to keep you in the shade and cool you down on a hot summer day. All swim tours include an in-water guide who is certified in first aid and lifesaving techniques to ensure your safety in and out of the water. Includes a SPRING HOP to one of our beautiful fresh water springs.

Our captains have been scalloping and fishing the waters of the gulf of Mexico for a combined 40+ years. This means we have the knowledge (and GPS locations) to ensure a successful day on the water.
Safety is paramount, so your guided charter includes an in-water guide to help you start “finding” your catch as well as a USCG certified Master Captain aboard your vessel at all times. This charter is 7-hours & includes a stop at one of our local springs so you can wash the salt off while we shuck your catch!
We also provide bottled water and deluxe seating along with all gear. You bring your own selection of other beverages and food and get ready for lots of family fun!
- Not recommended for non-swimmers, although non-swimmers are welcome to stay onboard the vessel.
