We embark our tour from Petes pier marina located in the heart of kings bay where the manatees can be located anywhere in our 600 acre bay. Once we find the manatees we then exit the boat and snorkel with the manatee. Our experienced guides lead the guests in the water throughout the entire at that time time they are taking photos and videos. All of our photos and small videos taken on the trip are included.

This is a true wild life experience and we do not guarantee perfect conditions. As a small owner operated tour company we believe in transparency with our guests. A lot of tour companies advertise Crystal clear water and picture perfect attractions. During manatee season those are the most likely times to see manatees in or near the springs. Where the water is clearer.
During spring, summer and fall. The manatees will be eating on our grass flats where visibility can very between 1 to 6ft. There is residential population of manatees that live in our bay year round. So you can still see manatees in the off season.

Free photos and memories for life - Free photos was a great extra. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and it was great that we were only 6 tourists on the boat. Our kids 6 and 8 and my wife and I all got memories for life.

Great tour and great tour company! - I’ve been wanting to swim with the manatees for years and finally got the chance. I looked at all of the tour companies offering tours and I am so glad I chose this one. Wally and Lindsay were awesome and made the trip easy and comfortable. We got to see over 100+ manatees and spent plenty of time in the water swimming and interacting with them with Lindsay leading us and taking pictures. 5/5 would recommend!

Great sighting Lots and Lots of manatees - Peter and Josh were great our 14 year old granddaughter and her friends braved 72 degree water with an air temperature of 52.Josh was so patient with one of the girls who had never snorkeled before made all of them feel comfortable.This time of the year is the due to the cold temperatures.The girls saw 100 of manatees with very little crowds to bother their swim. I would recommend this tour company anytime and plan for another swim next season.

Go Local is THE WAY to GO! - Walter and Joshua were top notch and focused on giving us the best experience possible! They were born and raised here and have incredible local knowledge along with connections so clients get the most of their time. In the water, Joshua took the time to ensure everyone on our small tour had an incredible interaction with the manatee all the while capturing it on film. It is very clear they love this beautiful area and the manatees. We will be back and highly recommend Go Local! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience! 🥰

Awesome! - AMAZING experience ! The crew was super nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They knew the best spots to swim with the manatees and made sure we had interactions with them. It was a cold day but they made sure we had hot cocoa, coffee, and tea waiting for us when we got back on the boat. As well as a mini heater. Love that they’re born and raised in FL! Highly recommend!!

Locals give the best tours - What an Amaizing time! Our guides knew what to do and where to be to give us the best experience, spoiler alert it was because they were all LOCAL! When we arrived the boat was clean and ready for us and after just a short ride we arrived at the float spot. Our water guide had a GoPro where he took over 150 photos so all we had to do was enjoy the experience. Would recommend!

Once-in-a-lifetime experience - What an amazing morning! We saw so many manatees, and one of them actually snuggled up to my daughter. Josh and Walter were fabulous guides, and the photos are spectacular. We were the only ones on the tour, and even though it was in the low 30s outside, the water was in the low 70s. They gave us wetsuits, and the boat was covered so we were protected from the wind. There was even a heater and hot chocolate for us when we got out. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we highly recommend Go Local Manatee Tours!

Go Local - Captain Peter and Derrick's commitment to their passengers is surpassed only by their love for and commitment to the manatees. Our swim with the manatees was exceptional because of their attention to detail. From a double wetsuit for our 10 year old grandson, to full face masks, to finding a secluded cove with no other tour boats, to Derrick leading us to a cow and her nursing calf and 3 more adults moving around and coming face to face with them coming up for air...and Derrick saving a drowning Yorkie who had fallen in the water...a remarkable experience. Thank you Peter and Derrick. We are sure we hit the jackpot in choosing Go Local as our guides.
