Captain Dave & Chris are the best! - Captain Dave & Chris took us out for a wonderful tour! We swam with manatee and in crystal clear water of a spring. They were very educational and lots of fun too! Book your trip with Captain Dave & Chris!

Fun family time with Carlos & Tanner - We had a great time - had Carlos and Tanner on the boat - super friendly, super helpful, Saw a mom and her calf, and then some males moved in (tough crowd, lol) - weather was perfect, and the springs didn’t disappoint!

Manatees, dolphins, and fish oh my! - Captain Chris and Carlos were awesome guides, full of great information on the area, the manatees, as well as copious other animals that inhabit the area. We were able to see schools of mullet, dolphins, crabs, etc and even a baby manatee. 10/10 would recommend.

Great experience even in June - This is a great company that we will definitely use again. We were a group of 9 people ranging from 2 years old to just old, and everyone had a great time. They provided the snorkels, wetsuits, and floating noodles and everything was clean and in top shape. Everyone from the guide, captain, to the other workers in store were friendly and helpful. Even though we went in late June (not the optimal time to visit), we were able to see several manatees (including a mother with her calf) and were able to swim close to them. We also got a chance to see the manatees' ninja-like abilities and were amazed that such a huge animal could just disappear without a trace. We definitely plan to come back sometime in the winter to see the manatees again in greater numbers and clearer waters and will be using River Ventures again.

Fantastic snorkeling experience with the manatees. - We had a fantastic time snorkeling and viewing the manatees. We had the opportunity to see several manatees during our experience. The guide (Carlos) and captain (JJ) were very informative, helpful, and very kind to our family. They were both awesome!

Go meet some Sea Potatoes!! - What a fun experience!!! Not only did we get to see some manatees but the information that both Crosby and Kelly provided was amazing! You can ask them anything about the bay and animal life and they know! Excellent time in the water and one the boat with them. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience! - We booked a private tour due to the age of our granddaughter. Our guide Dave and boat captain Bryan were excellent! What a fabulous experience to swim alongside these magnificent animals! Even our four year old grandson was able to participate and loved it! We learned a lot and really appreciated all the pictures Dave took.

Undeniably the best experience of my life! - My partner and I were very lucky to have Captain Wade and guide Trish for our lovely tour - I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish we were made to feel extremely comfortable and reassured around these lovely manatees whilst also being respectful of them. It is obvious that both Wade and Trish love what they do and they made sure that everyone on the tour got the best experience possible. We managed to see plenty of wildlife (not just manatees) despite the less than ideal weather and we even got lucky enough to see manatees in three sister springs. I can totally vouch for this lovely business and if I am ever lucky enough to travel here again all the way from England, I will definitely be coming back. Manatee Adventure - Wonderful experience .... Troy and Natalie were just great.... Troy had so much information and Natalie directed the family to where they exactly needed to be... Boat was very comfortable, they provide snacks/drinks...time just flew by...Highly recommend this company... have used others in Crystal river....River Ventures was top of the line.
