Andean beauty - Fascinating introduction to Cajas National Park
I spent a very pleasant morning exploring with Diego the flora and fauna of this beautiful part of the Andes. Diego was most knowledgable about herbal plants and we identified many on the way.Standing in a Polylepsis forest was a highlight. The trails ran around lakes and hillsides and Diego kept a gentle pace leaving the traveller well refreshed at the end. All in all a very worthwhile experience .

Lovely birdwatching in the national park. - Wonderful half day tour with Edison to the Cajas National Park. He showed us some beautiful views, and we had the opportunity to do some birdwatching with him. He flexed the itinerary for us based on our mobility, so we enjoyed a nice stroll rather than a hike. A lovely morning out.

Fantastic experience - We did the second guided tour with Edison. What’s again he was amazing and very knowledgable about the history of the country. I strongly recommend him to anybody who wants to do any tours in Ecuador.

Great Guide and Amazing Views - Diego was a wonderful guide who very very knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem. We really appreciated a route into the hills, rather than just going around the lake. The views were amazing and of course, we took lots of photos. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastico! - Amazing tour, we were met in the morning and our tour guide was amazing, let us stop and get food at the store for the ride, and was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the birds and trees and every aspect of the tour. I would love to go with him again !

Best Nature Tour Cuenca Ecuador - If you want to experience the Cajas National Park to the fullest I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was very interesting and had a lot of information about the geography and history of the park. As well as fun facts about the animals and plant life.
Apart from our tour in the park our guide was also kind enough to give us tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay in Cuenca. Truly an amazing experience!

Superb half-day tour with Diego - A beautiful morning experiencing nature -- don't miss this experience! Happy to have seen Cajas National Park, as it's definitely a must-see while in Cuenca. We had a private tour with a superb guide who was very informative, patient & easy-going -- and my 84 year old mother was able to walk with us (at her pace) as the trails are quite easy in the lower Cajas. Highly recommended, a highlight of our trip to be sure : )

Amazing - The landscape and the knowledge of the Guide are valuable. It is close to Cuenca, about 30 km away. It's for nature lovers.
Prepare for the cold, wind and difficult climbs.

Great Cajas tour with Polylepis - The private tour with Edison from Polylepis has been a delight. The Cajas National Park tour gives you great insights on flora and fauna, which need to be seen up close. Edison is very knowledgeable and always in good spirits. So far I have had only positive experiences in lovely Ecuador. I highly recommend Ecuador and especially a tour with Polylepis when in Cuenca, which is a delightful town.

Great tour with beautiful scenery - We really enjoyed the half day tour. Communication was excellent and we were picked up from our accommodation right on time. We were very lucky to have beautiful sunny weather so really enjoyed our hike in the national park. The hike was slightly challenging in places due to the altitude (the last bit was uphill, and we hadn't really had any acclimitisation time) but was manageable if you take it slowly. We also did a quick detour to a viewpoint at the highest point of the park on the way back to Cuenca.
