Awesome Cuenca tour - An awesome private tour with guide Edison. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started our tour by the Tory neighborhood up the hills to get the most beautiful view of Cuenca. Then we went to the old train station and the Quinta de Bolivar house. Then we went to the colonial street of the “Herraderias” where we stopped to enjoy some typical regional tamales. The we walked around the river and we finished by the old historical town. It was a very complete and entertained tout. I enjoy it and recommend it.

Both on and off the beaten path - Eddy picked us up at a crazy early morning hour when we arrived from Quito on an early morning flight. We spent all day touring with Eddy as our Airbnb wasn’t ready until 4 pm. Thank goodness eddy was such a knowledgeable, patient, and entertaining guide. He took us to many parts of the city that I think tourists never see as well as to the many highlights. We went to the mirador for a birds eye view of the city as well as to the Panama hat factory, the cathedral, the fruit and vegetable market, the flower market, and more. This was a great way to start our visit in Cuenca and got us well orientated to the city. Eddy’s knowledge was both deep and wide, so I feel like we just scratched the surface of what he knew about Cuenca and Ecuador. We also used Eddy for a food tour and a hike in Cajas. I highly recommend those as well.

Wonderful Walking Tour - My husband and I took the Cuenca walking tour with Flavio. He was a great tour guide, spoke English very well, very informative about the culture, artisans, architecture, city, history, etc. We took the tour the day after arriving in Cuenca so it was a fantastic way to get to know our way around the city! The tour was very easy to book and Polyepis was very responsive to all my inquiries in respect to coordinating our tours.
