Day trip to Herm - We went to Herm on a Trident boat leaving St Peters Port. It took 20 minutes and as it was low tide we disembarked at Rosiere Steps. We witnessed several elderly couples struggling to get up the steep steps so beware anyone with mobility issues. We walked to Shell Beach which was beautiful and had a soft drink as cafe were having difficulties with their till. We then went onto Belvoir Bay which was stunning even on a cloudy low tide day. We then walked across the island back to The White House Hotel. It was an extremely steep climb uphill and had to stop to catch our breath a few times. Certainly not suitable for mobility issues. Had a really good lunch at The Ship adjoining the hotel. Very tasty and service was excellent. We then got on the boat at Rosiere again and saw a couple struggling to get down the steps. Well worth a visit
