Excellent and well worth it - Thoroughly enjoyed this trip, with our driver Peter, he was extremely knowledgeable and spoke about the local areas we travelled through on our tour throughout our trip, he was very informative from the moment he met us to putting us on the boat trip from Bowness to Ambleside where he welcomed us when we arrived back on shore to continue our tour .. his driving was exceptional throughout, I would highly recommend this trip to experience what the tour has to offer …

Our great day out - Trip was a birthday present for my husband it was a wonderful trip to parts of the lake district that we had not been to. The boat trip was really good and then to Wray castle which was a beautiful place. We then visited Beatrice Potters home which was very surprising. Lunch in Hawkshead then back to windermere via Tarn How's all in all a great trip. Our driver was Peter Fox and he was exceptional lots of great information and facts about the area

Marvellous Tour by Mark - Mark’s tour is superb! He is an expert of Beatrix Potter and the footsteps of Beatrix, her story, the various attractions, her contributions in conservation works, the Herdwick sheep, et cetera. The tour is fabulous. Highly recommended! A tour that is not to be missed.

Peter's Tour - Peter provided an exquisite touring experience. He delivered narratives about the sights and the towns which were loaded with thoughtful detail and a depth of knowledge which can only be informed by living in the Lakes District. It was magical and a once in a lifetime experience. I'll never forget it.

Beatrix Potter tour - The boat trip across Windermere gave us some great views of the surrounding area. Hill top farm was fascinating and the house is just as Beatrix Potter left it. We had tour guide Tim, who was informative and great fun. Lots of interesting facts and fabulous scenary along the way. I highly recommend it this trip.

A lovely way to spend the day - Enjoyed our guide, who gave us just enough info and history to make the story come alive, but not too much that we didn’t have some quiet time to think and talk to each other. The day was well organized, and was a lovely way to see more of this incredible area of the world.

Vist to hilltop farm house is beautiful but really needs attention to pricing … - Visited Hilltop farm yesterday it was a mixture of reviews after visiting.. paying 17 pound per person the house was like walking in a museum definitely worth visiting if your a Beatrix potter fan but for the price for 3 adults 51 pound not worth the money sorry to be out the house within 15/20 mins approximately. The national trust need to review the prices otherwise word will spread how expensive it is for little time in the house you’d see everything… booked on the 10am tour you was greeted by a woman at the house door who took you’re tokens off you stated it was a self guided tour… all good fair enough but what ruined it by walking around the house was national trust workers rabbiting on when you were trying to look at different rooms.. i get they have a job to do but some visitors just like to have a look around on their own without being disturbed… would I visit again hmmm well that’s a good question yes I would visit again on a few different things (1) if they put more sign posts closer to the house the roads are narrow without no sign posts or advertising the house.. (2) the national trust review the prices ) (3) the national trust workers be more considerate of visitors wanting to look around without being disturbed…
