Keswick ghyll scrambling - Myself and my 12 year old daughter have just spent the morning ghyll scrambling and we were totally looked after from the moment we arrived. Craig was our guide for the morning and not only does he know his stuff we all had a great laugh. Wetsuits were spot on and although the river was a bit cold today we soon warmed up once we got wet and started coming down the river, changing facilities spot on. We were lucky enough to be in a small group today with loads of photos taken on the way down. Can't recommend these guys enough and we'll definitely try some of the other activities they offer, thanks again Craig 👍

Ready to book again!!! - Well what can I say me and my partner had the best day doing this, will definitely be returning to do it again. Then returning to do some other adventures. Just want say Luke our guide and coach was absolutely brilliant I would want to book with him on our next visit, he was professional very supportive and such a good laugh he made us feel welcome and so comfortable he gave us great motivation to push on, on parts where I didn't think I could do it. 5* all rounder

Exhilarating, fun, fantastic - Yesterday we had a fantastic afternoon Ghyll scrambling in Keswick. It has not stopped raining all week so we thought we might as well get in the water! Because of the rain the Ghyll (mountain river) was quite fierce and full but Grace knew how to lead us through it. My 11 year old was nervous to do the first slide as it was steep and loud but she was brave and took the plunge and from that moment she laughed all the way. My 14 ye old loved the whole afternoon. The scenery was beautiful, and we were surprised that we didn’t get at all cold in the water. There is lots of scrambling over slippy rocks involved which kept us warm. Such a fun and different activity. Next time we might try the extreme version with abseiling! We thoroughly recommend Ghyll scrambling on a rainy day!

Brilliant experience!! - Absolutely amazing experience! I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Keswick. I was worried because I hate the cold but I was amazed how quickly I got used to it. The natural slides and jumps were super fun.

Group weekend in the lakes - I’ve just got back from a weekend in the lakes where I was a volunteer travelling with a group with diverse disabilities. We booked both the Saturday and Sunday with Keswick Extreme, doing River Tubing, Ghyl Scrambling, Climbing and Abseiling. All the staff of Keswick Extreme were fantastic, being extremely helpful and patient with our diverse group. Throughout they were extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. The guides were also great fun and quickly became a part of our weekend. Really can’t recommend these guys enough and thank you very much.

Great family experience, I'd highly reccomend - We had a really fun couple of hours playing in the ghyll as a family, with kids aged 9 & 12. Keswick Extreme provided a well organised experience - communication was clear beforehand so we knew what to bring and the meet location in Keswick (behind the pencil museum) was ideal. Our guide for the day, Craig, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and experienced. He ensured we had fun and stayed safe during our ghyll scrambling trip - I'd definitely recommend booking with Keswick Extreme

What a mix up! - Check your booking on arrival carefully - you might end up river tubing instead of ghyll scrambling. Not quite the holiday experience that was expected. Money refunded but experience missed.
