- Honister Slate Mine - Stop at Honister where you will be treated to some of the most beautiful views in the Lake District.
- Buttermere Lake - Buttermere is well known to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the national park.
- Thirlmere - Pass by the man made reservoir nestled in the shadow of Helvellyn.
- Grasmere - Stop in the charming village of Grasmere and pass by the Lake.
- Rydal Water - Pass by the stunning Rydal water.

Between Monday 19 September 2022 and Friday 18th November 2022 there are road closures on the A592 (Ullswater) this means between Mondays to Fridays during the dates above the tour will visit 8 lakes, missing out Ullswater and Brotherwaters. Diversions are via the A591. Our Driver Guides will use their experience showing the best of the Lakes. We apologise for this change, but it is completely out of our hands. The Lake District in England, a recent addition to the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a sight to behold. As you take in the sweeping landscapes and rugged fells, listen to your guide’s insights on the history, geology, and the influential figures that have shaped this beloved region.
Journey past some of the most stunning views the region has to offer, including Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Ullswater, Honister pass, and Grasmere. The itinerary includes numerous stopovers, with the Castlerigg Stone Circle and its breathtaking panoramic vistas being a highlight. Our amiable driver/guide will share informative commentary throughout this full-day tour of enchanting lakes and majestic mountains.

- Luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information departure location

- Please note, the tour starts from Windermere Information Centre @ 9.40am. It is not possible to be collected from a different location once chosen. If you are not at the correct pick up location and miss the tour, we cannot offer alternative arrangements.
- Westmorland and Furness Council are working towards upgrading and improving the safety of the A592 (Kirkstone Pass) which connects Windermere to Brotherswater and Ullswater. Unfortunately this does mean the road is closed for specific periods throughout the year, including 5th June 2023 – 3rd July 2023, 2nd October – 16th October and 1st March 2024 – 22nd March 2024. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please note our tours will still be running as usual but with a temporarily diverted route during this period.
