The Lake District in England, a recent addition to the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a sight to behold. As you take in the sweeping landscapes and rugged fells, listen to your guide’s insights on the history, geology, and the influential figures that have shaped this beloved region.
Journey past some of the most stunning views the region has to offer, including Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Ullswater, Honister pass, and Grasmere. The itinerary includes numerous stopovers, with the Castlerigg Stone Circle and its breathtaking panoramic vistas being a highlight. Our amiable driver/guide will share informative commentary throughout this full-day tour of enchanting lakes and majestic mountains.
- Children must be over the age of 5 to travel on this tour
- There will be a designated lunch stop where you’ll be able to purchase lunch
- There are toilet stops on route
- Minimal walking is involved
- Our vehicles are not currently wheelchair accessible
- Luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information departure location
- Seats cannot be reserved
- Each passenger must have their own seat
- Please note, the tour starts from Windermere Information Centre @ 9.40am. It is not possible to be collected from a different location once chosen. If you are not at the correct pick up location and miss the tour, we cannot offer alternative arrangements.

Fabulous views and first class service - We were collected at Bowness Pier by Mark who took us through 10 different lakes, travelling places and hearing stories and facts that we wouldn't have known if we did this ourselves. Expertly driven in narrow lanes and byways too.
Plenty of stop off points to get lots of pictures and see the lovely views.
Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and at a lovely unhurried pace.
We had ample coffee, toilet stops and a generous lunch stop in Keswick.
My advice is Don't hesitate to book this tour of the Lakes.

Lake District, where mere does not mean mere 😉 - The tour was a fantastic experience. The landscapes were astonishing, and we were fortunate to have nearly a full day of sunshine, which really allowed us to appreciate the beauty of nature. Our tour guide, Tim, was excellent; he enhanced the trip by sharing stories and interesting facts about the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the wonders of nature.

10lakes tour - I learned a lot of useful facts about lakes from Tim. He is friend and patient and always have smile. He took interesting alien pictures and shoot fun video for me and mg friend. Good tour overall.

Magical Journey with Tim - Outstanding trip with Mountain Goat!
Went on the trip with the most interesting Guide, knowledgeable, funny, full of anecdotes and stand in Wordsworthian who regaled us with his timely intervention of Wordsworth poems ... Tim!
If doing this trip ... ask for Tim! He makes this magical trip even more worth it!
A must do ... day trip ... if you want to see this heavenly place called Lake District!

Cracking trip, good value - A cold but bright day. The guide Tim was great. Well informed, very accommodating and informative. Frequent breaks and a decent lunch break in Keswick. We'd recommend this trip.

An Unforgettable Day with Stunning Views and an Amazing Guide - I had an amazing day! The views were absolutely stunning, and the nature was breathtaking. I couldn’t get enough of it!
Tim was such a great guide and driver. He shared lots of interesting stories and fun facts. He’s super friendly, energetic, and went out of his way to take great photos and videos for everyone. What surprised me the most was how he turned moments when we couldn’t see certain views (due to the weather) into something positive with his great sense of humor.
Overall, I highly recommend this experience!

Incredible time exploring the Lake District - I had an incredible time exploring the Lake District today! The breathtaking scenery of the lakes and charming surrounding towns was made even more enjoyable by our tour guide, Tim. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but he also had a fantastic sense of humor that kept the group engaged and entertained throughout the day. The insights into the history, culture, and unique features of the area added so much depth to the experience. It was a perfect mix of natural beauty and fascinating stories, and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the UK. This should be a 7 star review only because of Tim.

An Illuminating Adventure - This tour was a perfect way to pack in all (well almost all) of the wonderful and mesmerising landscapes and lakes.
Tim, our tour guide for the day made the tour so much more than just sightseeing. So very informative and with much enthusiasm, Tim, can really bring history to life. His knowledge of the area is incredible! And humour galore!
