Awesome tour and fun guide - Our guide Ian gave a wonderful tour of the surroundings of Windermere: up to the top of Kirkstone Pass, past many idyllic villages surrounded by sheep-filled fields, to an awe-inspiring slate-mine-cave and across steep gravel roads with fantastic views. Ian was a fun guide, great to chat with and took great care to accommodate requests for extra photo stops along the route. I would totally recommend this tour for any small group of people wanting to see a highlite reel of what Windermere has to offer.

Highly recommend - We only had a short time in the lakes and wanted to see as much as possible while we were there. This was the best way to do that, it was a fantastic 4 hours enjoyed every minute and saw everything we wanted to. Ian was great company and so easy to talk to. Would highly recommend this trip for those that want to see as much as possible in a short period of time

Best Tour Experience In The Lakes! - Wow! What an amazing experience. Our guide, Ian, was such a welcoming, lovely gentleman who made the tour all that more special. He collected us from our hotel before taking us on some incredible scenic routes, all whilst explaining where we were going and teaching us about the history of the landscape. Ian guided us to a local cafe to stop for a quick drink before continuing through winding roads and even setting off foot through an old slate quarry. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants a private tour of the beautiful landscape and to meet a friendly, experienced tour guide! We felt completely safe in Ian's hands. It was worth every penny and I hope to book again one summer to see how different the landscape looks!

Wanted something different. Didn’t disappoint! - Having been to the lakes a few times we were looking for something a bit different. Saw the reviews for Ian and decided the more personal trip was what we wanted. Really enjoyed going to locations we probably would never thought of or would have wanted to drive to! Would recommend 100%

5 star experience - We was picked up from our hotel by Ian, who was friendly and attentive. We had a fantastic tour, remarkable view’s and some amazing place’s to stop at and get pictures as well as taking in the information given by Ian. It was very relaxed and catered to our need’s. We would most definitely recommend to other’s visiting the Lake District.

Brilliant way to see parts of the Lake District even when its snows - We had amazing day with Ian, showed us places we would never had seen otherwise and very accommodating.

Ian’s incredible 4x4tour. - If you are planning to see the Lake District please don’t hesitate to book Ian’s 4x4 private tour. We were fortunate to experience it this weekend. Ian took us to places we would never have found by ourselves. The truly stunning slate caves, waterfalls and beautiful snow capped scenery. We were taken off road through beautiful mountainous terrain. We had considered other tours however I am so pleased that we found his tour. He gave us a bespoke tour with our ideas alongside his itinerary. It was the highlight of our trip to the Lake District. We were so lucky to find his tour….I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Ian.

4x4 afternoon - Came to the lakes for a short three day break, weather not so good - the best day out! Ian was brilliant, considerate to all our needs, explained everything, and even gave us options as to what we wanted to do. He made the day so much fun, and we can’t wait to go back. We definitely doing the sailing experience next! Thank you so much!

4x4 lakes tours - Amazing experience and seeing views we haven’t ever seen before. Was well worth the money. Even though it snowed heavy, Ian didn’t cancel and still made the experience enjoyable and was a great hero helping others caught in the snow too!
