Additional Information

Important note: Our tour is vegan friendly!

Our Thursday tour in Usaquén begins at 5:30 pm. The neighborhood of Usaquén was formally a small town that became engulfed with the overflow of Bogotá. Here, you can find aspects of an old town, while remaining in the capital of Colombia. We will be meeting at restaurant for dinner where we will be tasting modern Colombian cuisine. For dessert, we’ll visit a place dedicated to elevating a very famous, local pastry using traditional Colombian flavors. The third place on our tour is an artisanal cacao shop where we will savor 100% Colombian cacao. Finally, we will finish at a bar specialized in rum where we will have a 20% discount on the check.

General recommendation: Come hungry!

An excellent gastronomic tour and tour of the streets of Usaquén, HIGHLY recommended! - I participated in the tour together with my wife and we found it a fabulous experience. We started at Canasto Picnic in Usaquén with a really great meal, it was characterized by a special menu that has nothing to envy, good to share as a couple and be able to taste more dishes, included a whole and a strong dish, both delicious. Then we went for a dessert to La Rosconería and, once again, the food and service were excellent. We visited a specialty chocolate shop where we had a great presentation and several tastings. We ended up at the Pedro Mandinga bar where we also had a rum tasting. All this was directed by Carolina Navas, who gave us an incredible tour and presentation, excellent hostess and knowledge of one of the most traditional towns in Bogotá. A really fun and delicious experience! Thank you!

Fascinating space to dine, tour historic streets and make new friends - Spectacular! Touring the streets of Usaquén, Bogota’s iconic site and enjoying the excellent food, rich desserts and drink included in the tour was a great experience. Everything was delicious and complemented by the explanation of the food and history of the sites visited, in some of them told directly by their owners.
