• Valley of the Nuns - Secluded from the rest of the island, the Nuns Valley is nestled within a basin encircled by volcanic rocks, presenting a stark contrast. Departing from the hotel, the journey begins by traversing Funchal to reach Pico dos Barcelos, one of Madeira’s distinctive scenic overlooks. The route continues to ascend to Eira do Serrado, situated at 1094 meters above sea level, where, weather permitting, one can gaze upon the Nuns Valley. A visit to a local family-owned bakery offers an opportunity to sample cakes, biscuits, and liquors. The final destination is Monte, a historical tourist spot in Madeira, featuring a church visit and an optional toboggan ride, which is part of the tour package for a fee of 35€. The tour price is 20€ if the toboggan experience is not included. It is important to note that the toboggan ride for an individual incurs an extra charge of 10€, as the ride costs 25€, not 15€.
