Transfagarasan Highway Balea Lake and Tarta Monastery with lake Balea and - The trip was well organized with a fantastic driver. The drive to lake Balea is spectacular with stops for pictures. Claudiu was an excellent guide with a deep knowledge about the monastery and explained it very well. The trip was well worth it. I recommend to anyone who comes to Braşov to book it with Claudiu. A Good Day Out - A really enjoyable day out. Trian was very knowledgeable - precise heights of mountains, dates, names, etc, all came tripping off memory. This being winter, the tour was not the full length of the highway and I knew that would be the case before we set out. I had expected we would be able to do more of the highway before moving into a cable car, but that was my mistake, so no stars deducted for that. But just as a note to others keen for the drive - book in summer! Still worth the day out, though, and I have some amazing snowy mountain photos. Strangely, I really enjoyed wandering into the road tunnel at the top of the mountain on foot, when the road is completely hidden under a snow drift. Bizarre juxtaposition of worlds.

Peak fall colors on the Transfagarasan Highway - This is a fantastic trip, especially in late October. Claudio was our driver. He was very knowledgeable about transylvania. We orignally booked our trip from Brashov to Brashov, but had to make a late change because of our hotel. For a small fee, Claudio was able to pick us up in Poiana Brashov. He also adjusted our pick up time so that we got to the Carta Monastery just as it was opening. This was much appreciated. The drive up (or south) on the Transfafarasan Hwy was incredible. Claudio knew where to stop for the best views. On our way up, Claudio shared with us information about the abundance of brown bears in Transylvania and the crazy people who feed them on the highway. As if on cue, we spotted some crazy people feeding a brown bear and a brown bear on the road on our way down. Claudio dropped us off in Brashov at our request and provided us some recommended sites to see there. We can't recommend this trip highly enough.

He was extremely proffessional subtle and we ended up having a private experience that day which only made this surprise event for my boyfriend’s 40th bday ever more special and very intimate! High regards!

Amazing experience - Details make the difference is something that definitely describes Traian, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great experience. Definitely would recommend. As for the trip, definitely wear hiking boots, I wore converse and it was a bit more difficult to hike up there. It can also get a bit chilly and weather definitely changes fast, from sunny to cloudy and potentially rainy, so definitely be prepared for that.

Enjoyed but please read review - great tour guides, lots of knowledge and very friendly. Day 1 tour was really good even though one location was closed. A replacement location was selected in its place (it would be nice to be told of any closures / changes in advance as these may have been locations I really wanted to have visited. The days was made even better with visit to a great restaurant. Second day I found a contrast in feelings. The intended location could not be visited through no fault of the company but I felt we were just left in a town centre that had been selected as a replacement location. After a quick walking guide around the town square (where we gained lots of interesting knowledge and facts) we were taken to a fabulous restaurant that served us some superb food. This is where my disappointment set in. We had our meal and were driven back. I really feel more could have been done or in place when the major attraction you travelled out to see was not accessible. I had a nice time, lovely people (a lovely girl drove us around on our second day that was not part of the business but made the experience relaxed and fun. Big thank you to her). A nice experience, I would use this company again but beware there are a lot of costs when you get to your attractions. Castles - you not only have to pay entry fees but fees to visit certain parts, not massively expensive but at the end of the day all added up - tour - meal - entry fees, can prove expensive.
